After 6 months I finally revealed where it is that Karl and I moved to last November; the British Virgin Islands. Take a look at an introduction to Tortola, as well as an explanation of why we didn't stay.

Yea, I noticed that. You might want to put edited words on the video A bit misleading that that damage is still apparent with 10 additional years added to it. Not everyone may read comments to see your correction. If you are seriously posting videos, you should do a formal edit on video. Only fair. And why did the video sound speed up on the cons?

Here’s the key to BVI: Meet the locals so you have access to fresh fish, chicken and goat...also, hop on the boat and go over to St. Thomas from time to time as well.

@onceuponaglobe3 жыл бұрын
Hi John! Unfortunately there aren't an abundance of great options for flying to Tortola. Every flight to the island (almost) needs to come via San Juan, Puerto Rico. So from Toronto, you'll probably fly to somewhere in Florida-SanJuan-Tortola. Or, you might get lucky with a flight to San Juan directly from Toronto. Enjoy your trip!
@RicardoMartinez-oh9sq Жыл бұрын
San Juan, Puerto Rico is the best airport in the Caribbean. Avoid the St. Thomas, American Virgin Islands Airport, it is barely an airport, although from St. Thomas there is a ferry boat to Tortola for forty dollars or so. The local airport in Tortola is very small.

@@onceuponaglobe It’s not like a secret society or anything. You just need to ask around about who is providing such services. Since it’s a small island and small community, not everything is formally commercialized like elsewhere. So asking a local would have been your best bet.
