Yeah that’s not a thing here she must live in another country. The uk is pretty bad heal care wise I lived there and they are way overworked and have no time for you. You can’t go to the ER unless you are dying or in a threatening situation it literally has signs saying to leave and call the GP. No doctor saw Eugenia. Her mom doesn’t allow it, the last time she saw a doctor they committed her and that’s what would happen so her mom doesn’t allow it. She is irresponsible for spreading these lies.

​@@Jazzatic2011 I had an ED in the past and after my mom figured out what was going on the first thing she did was take me to the hospital and I stayed on the ED floor for a week. After that I was sent to a hospital specifically designed for ED recovery and my mom got me a team of healthcare professionals to guide me to recovery. Despite what you might think being at the ED hospital was actually really nice (all things considered) because I was surrounded by people all struggling with the same thing as me and I made friends with most of them. My biggest piece of advice though is to do outpatient which is basically where once you get discharged from the hospital and are now at home you still have to do online visits with your team and go in for check-ups every now and again. The reason I recommend this is because most of the people I knew who got discharged and didn't do outpatient relapsed almost immediately after leaving, but I didn't.

She monitors her every move, theres a bell on her front door so she cant leave the house, even if she wants to go see the moon at night shes not allowed and has to watch through the window (she was trying to sneak out on streak when the bell chimed, and her mum woke up, you could see everything on Eugenia’s face her mum got rid of her driving instructor when she was finally getting a bit of independence and having a good relationship with the sweet instructor lady who seemed to genuinely care for Eugenia Suddenly after their video together she disappears and the mum decides to teach Eugenia herself because she cant let Eugenia have that She manipulates Eugenia and she is scared to stress her mum out due to “heart issues” so she cant do anything in case her mum dies because of her (what her mum and made her believe) Eugenia freaked out when a little bit of dirt touched her outside as if it were radioactive and she was genuinely terrified. She didnt know how to use a shovel, i genuinely dont think shes every been able to play outside and know that dirt isn’t dangerous, and her mum doesnt even try to help with her way of thinking and instead uses it so that Eugenia relies on her She constantly makes Eugenia feel useless so that she has power Her mum has even her strip in the middle of a busy shop to try on bathing suits whilst recording her Absolutely vile

I have two friends with eds and its horrible. I am very proud of one of them for getting better and recovering but honestly i cant be happy about the other one. She completely romanticizes the ed saying stuff like "were ed besties" and "ill just starve myself after eating this" and when my other friebd told her shes recovering, she just took her hands, started dancing and singing that shes gonna give some of her ed to my recovering friend. Its just not good how eds are beeing romanticized and people not really doing anything that do it but for anyone struggling, i hope you recover and get better, im proud of every step you take in your journey

Oh my god that’s vile. I’m so sorry your recovering friend had to deal with that sort of behaviour, that must’ve been horrifying to hear out of the mouth of someone she considered a friend. I had a friend who was like that with depression; she was severely depressed (as was I) and she didn’t want me to recover or reach out for help and refused to do it herself because, in her words, ‘misery loves company’. I ended up having to cut ties with her because she wanted so badly to stay miserable and couldn’t handle the idea that I might want recovery for myself. You and your recovering friend have my well-wishes.

I googled “coughing and severe ED” and I came across something called dysphagia. Basically, she’s unable to swallow her own saliva due to muscle weakness in her throat. 😢

I'm not a diagnostic clinician, but I do have a suspicion that part of her refusal to drink water on stream has to do with weakening of muscles, both causing some degree of dysphagia as well as a weakening of her bladder. Sometimes it looks like shes having clear palpitations, but sometimes it does look like choking. And she was "caught" on live wearing something that allegedly looked like an incontinence product. Given how emaciated she is, I wouldn't be surprised if she's having difficulty swallowing properly and retaining urine. EDs are a hell of a thing. The whole situation is tragic.

I don’t see her being here this time next year , I’d say sooner but I’m shocked she’s still here now.. she doesn’t see any doctor, she’s lying. I've been a nurse for 18 years. I have said a while ago that there is no hope for Euginia. Her friends tried to help her with no impact, her true supporters have tried to help her with no impact, and its very obvious she does not want help. Her mother is condoning her daughters self-inflicted death and clearly encourages her deathly behaviors. Thats what we call munchausens-biproxy. So all these people telling her to get healthy or tell her all the time how they are so worried about her etc are wasting their time. At this point Euginia is dying and that's what she chooses. She knows death is more than a possibility but doesn't care. So, at this point, people need to treat her as a dying youtuber, stop trying to get her help, and just love her while she is still here. after watching this video, i ate something. I used to (and sometimes do) have an ED, and I was underweight but not to the point I had to be hospitalized, I was called a skinny-minnie so many times, which then made me continue to not eat. right now I am just barely a healthy weight, but there's times when I won't eat something because there's so many calories in it. I am tall (and I'm still growing) and I'm barely a teen, so I do need to eat, but just a reminder, please don't body shame anyone at all. it won't help

I would like to say I am so amazed by your very courageous and inspiring reply. People often judge others based on many forms of mental/physical illnesses. I have bipolar so I do know. I have suffered massive changes in weight, though to be fair these changes were largely uncontrolled. I cannot say I experience the severe anxiety/emotional/comparison issues like someone with ED. Can be relentless, I guess. Takes a lot of courage, I am sure, every day. I hope you have loved ones you can confide in whenever you find yourself struggling, we all need someone we can trust to remind us of "the bigger picture", sometimes. I hope they can comfort and reassure you of their genuine love for you. Please take my experience, the sooner any illness is detected and dealt with, the better the recovery. I know it is not all about food, the CAUSE best be addressed BEFORE the individual can begin their recovery successfully. As for Eugenia, I feel so sorry for her. She's very, very unwell and those who are supposed to love her are simply fueling her sickness, and not her recovery. Eugenia is clearly being mistreated, neglected and laughed at. She deserves so much better! To be deeply loved for being Eugenia. She is sensitive and kind. Who loves her with sensitivity and kindness? I see no one around! God loves Eugenia. It is never God's will for people to be sick. God does not say "refuse medical treatment" though. Sometimes we need the hospital. I think that might be what happened to me. There were points in my childhood when I wouldn't get any food at all. I was constantly getting shots for malnutrition and broke my arm by falling onto carpet. I suspect I've had GERD since I was around 7 years old because of this and have been sent home on several occasions because I've thrown up at school.

Eugenia's ED is her identity. When she had her very brief "recovery" period back in 2019, Shane Dawson did a video with her talking about it. She was still very thin, but a much healthier weight. However, you could tell she was uncomfortable and she tried very hard to keep her body covered. Like she was ashamed. She tried to make videos again, but you could tell she was lost. Having an ED is her thing. It's the reason a good chunk of her viewers watch her. It's the reason people talk about her. It's this morbid curiosity to see how bad she has gotten. How long can she teeter on this precipice before she finally falls. I think she felt like without her ED, she wasn't interesting enough as a person to keep people watching her content. So she went back to the one thing she thinks is interesting about herself: her ED. She probably takes lots of vitamins and supplements (hence, her mother saying her blood work is fine) and those supplements are likely what's keeping her alive. It is a tragedy, but she is an adult. Albeit an immature one. She's been in treatment before so she knows help is available and how to get it. She clearly doesn't want it. So my sympathy for her is limited. People can talk to her until they are blue in face about how she needs help, but until she actually wants to change, she never will.

I just discovered a woman called Amy on TikTok and, unfortunately, she passed away from Anorexia. I watched a video where she explained that she was at the point where she couldn’t drink a lot of fluids during because she lost control of her pelvic floor muscles and anything she put in her body would go right through her. At this point, she would NEED to be an inpatient because if she attempted to begin to eat again she would experience refeeding syndrome, and could put her body in a state of severe shock and kill her. We all know she wont go to the hospital. At this point its quite literally too late. She would likely need a feeding tube for the rest of her life, theres absolutely no way her body could handle normal daily eating anymore.

Yes, this is an involuntary 3-day hold at the very least. Months getting fluids up, learning to eat (or being fed through more IVs and vitamins), therapy, But, at this point any muscles she doesn't regularly use have atrophied. She's used to sitting in a chair more often than anything else.

I suffered with anorexia for years and recovered. Eugenia does not trigger me or inspire me to go back to that. When I look at her, I realize how I sounded and looked to other people. My hair was falling out, my skin was pale, I had no energy and lived in my own world where NOTHING else mattered. I was an empty shell with zero personality. I am embarrassed of how I was and as much as that ED voice still says horrible things to me and tries to get me to starve again, I will not. I would not have a good job, money, a car and enjoy actual life had I stayed on that path.

When I was a kid (About 12 / 13) I would watch Eugenia in awe. I remember doing mass research on ED's because I thought it was just an intense diet at that time. It's definitely not Eugenia's fault that my parent's parenting was giving me unrestricted internet access. I shouldn't have been watching her or Shane Dawson and to make it worse Onision.(took that crusty man's opinion to heart. BIG REGRET ok anyway) That is the danger of that though, and a lot of the reason people wanted to take her accounts down because there are so many other people with shitty parents and my comments of influential 12 year old me commenting how beautiful she was. . . was not helping her ED.

Almost everything can be inappropriate, for a reason or another. Social media were not thought to be for kids, and that's a responsibility that parents need to take.

That makes sense and I agree. Even games made for children aren't safe. A lot of people say that her fanbase was mostly tweens / teens even though there isn't any proof. Have children watched her? Yes. Is it all children, Nah. I feel like if anything taking her accounts down should be so she can't constantly body check / be fueled by online audiences. Although I highly doubt it would stop someone that deep into it. That would have made more sense than the claim of "HeR fAnBaSe Is ChIlDrEn" because 100% agreed that it's the parent's fault if they are watching her / anything they shouldn't be. I wanted to look like her, because I thought it was normal as a kid to be that skinny. Me obtaining an ED because my parents would rather sit me in front of a screen instead of parent didn't help, and my want to look like her was my stupid choice. I shouldn't have been online in the first place.

A parent can't 100% control every little thing that a kid does, but I feel that something THAT big comes with consequences that parents should notice, and at that point they should definitely pay more attention to external influences. As someone’s who’s dealt with an ED and doctors I’m going to say they’re lying. I was nowhere near Eugenia’s weight and the doctors told me they were worried. I was only two stone underweight and they were worried. Idk what height Eugenia is, she looks like she’s my height, she’s more than two stone (14 pounds) underweight.

My partner talked me into going to a doctor when I was at my lowest weight in like, 2011-2012, and the doc was like “lol ur fine”🙄 I left, perfectly happy to tell my partner that I was fine. I was definitely NOT fine, skinny af & having lost my period for 3yrs. Point being, an alarming number of doctors are pretty uninformed about EDs. However, I CANNOT imagine any sane doctor seeing Eugenia & thinking she looks healthy and stable. I was skinny, but she’s on a whole other LEVEL of skinny.

Crazy fact about EDs the less you feed your body the more your body is eating itself, muscle and fat in the body. Which definitely explains why her muscle mass is literally non existent the only major muscle she has left that her body will try and consume is her heart. Also I learned about that in health class when studying about EDS, I'm still struggling with mine (sometimes I restrict my eating). But I finally got to my healthy goal weight so I hope others get well too

I love eugenia a lot i watched her so much when i was younger but for years now i cant bring myself to watch her videos... in the netherlands there has been a docu about anorexia "emma wilt leven" which trabslates to emma wants to live... which is about a young lady who had anorexia and tried everything to get better eventuelly went to a facility in france as a last resort where she sadly passed shortly after arriving. There is an intervieuw with her a few hours before her death which is heartbreaking. And eugenia is starting to look like her and it scares me so much but the djfference ia that eugenia doesnt want to change, emma did

As someone who has battled an Ed all my life I can tell you that you are absolutely correct when you say that the well wishes, and messages of concern or outright disgust in her being morbidly underweight is taken as a compliment. I remember when I was at my worst I worked with my sister and she'd say things like omg I can see your bones but it made me feel great. Even our customers were going to our boss and expressing their concern about me. They thought I had some kind of serious physical illness. The heart palpitations were the worst I couldn't sleep because of them and anything I did eat pretty much went through me. I got help and had therapy. Even though I'm a healthy weight now it's still a daily battle and I obsess over staying the same weight and not putting on weight and still have therapy and see my doctor but on the whole I've got my Ed well under control its not controlling me. Unfortunately eugenia is at the most severe end of the illness and without immediate intervention and at this point it would have to be forced, unfortunately she will pass away her organs are shutting down. To save her the mother would have to put her in a 5150 and she would have to be force fed through a tube. Even then there's no guarantee she would recover. The best advice I could offer everyone is to unsubscribe to her channels and stop following her or watching her or giving her any attention. I feel very sorry for her but she has to want for herself to recover and she just doesn't. It's like being an addict and an addict can only get clean for them no1 else and she doesn't want to get better. I don't think she has long left at all now 😢

I'm 66 now, and had an eating disorder and bulimia for around 4 or so years in my 20s. It was horrible. I don't want anyone to be inspired or affected by eugenia videos. My Dr asked me once if I liked being a skinny chicken. I was elated. I recently saw a family reunion Pic during the middle of it, recently, and I actually gasped looking back. Problem is too, it's a lifelong battle. You have to really want to get better to make a change. Otherwise every comment about your thinness is taken as a compliment.

I didn't realize the slippery slope to having an ED. Before I found out I was pregnant, I was dealing with an ED. My body was so malnourished that I lost my son's twin sister, almost lost my son, and almost lost my life. My son was born 10 weeks early and spent the first 3 and half months of his life in the NICU. He came home just in time for his 4 month milestone. I say that all to say that EDs effect SSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOO much and my heart breaks for her.... I'm almost wondering though if we should keep talking about her. The more attention she gets, the more weight she loses and the more resistant to help she gets.....unfortunately, it may be time to ignore her..... without any attention and therefore, money, they won't continue....also where the hell is KZbin and Twitch in this? They should also be held responsible for giving her a platform and for monetization....
