The one and only person who doesn't see that Eugenia is dying is the person who gave her life. Absolutely disgusting.

You’re spreading misinformation. People with Munshhousen live at the hospital, they’re obsessed with getting pity from the medical community. This isn’t Munshhousen, this is a enabling rich spoiled mother/daughter relationship. Stop armchair diagnosing everything that you think can’t be explained by simple human idiocy.

Eugenia’s body weight/eating is the only thing she has ever been able to control in her life. It’s no wonder she developed an ED with a mother like that

Exactly. ED’s are more than just body image. There’s an obsessive compulsive component to them too. The need to be in control.
@LorraineVirginie
@LorraineVirginie 8 ай бұрын
Yup. And her mom is so hooked on being in control that she acts like her severe life threatening ED is no concern. If she expressed concern over it she’d be giving Eugenia power in the relationship. She would rather her daughter die than give her any ounce of feeling of control and power. And Eugenia continues to hold onto it as the only thing she has control over, probably hoping at some point her mother would care enough to actually help her. It’s a stand off to the death at this point.

So it's not Rapunzel syndrome although that IS a thing but it has more to do with someone who pulls their hair out and has other anxiety related mental illnesses. However the other comment about Wendy syndrome comes a little closer... I would call this situation with Eugenia and her mom Peter Pan syndrome (a real thing) where a person remains childlike and for whatever reason (abuse or something similar) doesn't mature and Munchausen by proxy. Wendy syndrome is also real but it refers to women who "mother" their partners/husbands. Hope that helps a little. I actually googled all this because you got me interested with your initial question! Lol I was like... IS there such a thing? And yep there is and more.

At minimum, Eugenia's relationship with her mom screams "learned helplessness" to me. I had a mother who had no patience for kids, and struggled with the same thing. And people are not kind about it. When your parent teaches you nothing about anything, it is really going to affect how you learn stuff. It is so embarrassing to not know how to do basic shit yourself and then to be ridiculed for it. And when you do try to achieve some independence and learn for yourself, that parent discourages you at every turn. I feel for her. But yeah, at some point you have to put yourself above that abusive parent. It isn't as easy as everyone thinks though.

Obviously I'm doing everything you tell me, but I never asked you to be my mother or take her place. With that attitude, I'm surprised the kids you have want you as a mother .... I never understood people that want to help and then act like you're not worthy neither... I was extremely sheltered, but I never ever asked or insinuated I needed a second mother to teach me about the world😂😂😂 why do they do that?

Things with Eugenia seem to go far beyond that her mother just didn't teach her things as she isn't allowed to go anywhere alone (she was made to be chaffered by driver everywhere). Not only that there is a video in which a friend of hers pointed out locks on her door, on the outside of her door.. The friend asked her why they were there and Eugenia said they always had been there. There is also a video in which Eugenia is left without a bed as her brother had taken to sleeping in her bed, something she was upset about.

This is the sickest Münchausen by proxy I’ve seen since Gypsy Rose. And honestly, this seems worse. This monster of a “mother” needs to be arrested for entrapment, abuse and so on. It’s like watching your child poison herself & just ignoring it & allowing her to continue to take poison. I've experienced this kind of thing before, but my mom has helped me! She takes me to regular check ups in the past. Because I was diagnosed with pneumothorax. And because of that sickness. My weight dropped. I'm like a skeleton, but today I'm slowly recovering and my weight slowly going back.

Her having ED makes sense now. It’s the only thing she can control in her own life. The whole situation is heartbreaking. With as closed off from the world as her mother keeps her, I bet she truly believes things her mom says like her driving teacher was fired after internet sleuths tracked her down. Kind of like when I was very young and my parents told me my dog went on vacation because they didn’t want me to have to deal with her death at 3. Difference is, my parents didn’t shelter me from the world, just tried to protect me when appropriate. But I believed them and even though Eugenia is 29, she’s so incredibly sheltered that she probably doesn’t know any different. Her mother should be investigated for adult abuse. I bet her mom took her out of rehab because Eugenia was learning in the counseling sessions and interacting with other residents that the things her mother was doing were so abnormal. Her mother can’t have her coming to any realizations about her life and risk losing control of Eugenia. She’s probably so brainwashed at this point that there may be no going back. She’s suffering from Stockholm syndrome. How do you undo 30 years of this horrific abuse and trauma. It’s no wonder she seems so much like a little girl. Does anyone know if she was homeschooled?

Her mother, in my opinion, doesn't have munchausen by proxy because parents with by proxy constantly take their kids to the doctor, in hopes of getting serious diagnosis. They doctor shop in order to do this. It's clear that her mother doesn't take her to the doctor or else she'd be admitted ASAP for ED. I think her mother is a severe narcissist and has to control Eugenia and wants to keep her dependent on her and enjoys the negative attention she gets by people staring at her. She wont even let her out of the house to look at the moon and shes 29 years old, living in a pink hello kitty room and wears clothes a little girl would like. Her mom is all about control but denies anything is medically wrong with her.

For anyone who doesn't know:: Münchausen Syndrome by proxy is a mental disorder in which parents, typically mothers, harm their children in order to gain sympathy. This can include physical abuse, enabling self-harming behaviors, mental abuse, and s-xual abuse. This often ends up in a sheltered child who is almost fully codependent with their parent. There is also Peter Pan Syndrome, which Eugenia might have, in which a person remains childish or regressed all of the time due to a traumatic or enabling environment. The "grade" of regression depends on when the abuse started, typically. This is all so icky, and immoral, and gross and.. ugh, hopefully someday Eugenia might get some help before it's too late.

@@candlelitpeppermintcarniva8509 Absolutely 100%. Anyone living like that would have to feel absolutely horrible and I think the only reason she is allowed to have a phone or access to the internet at all is because she found a way to make money so she is a personal bank for her mom. And people could argue well she has a phone so she can call the police and tell them everything and get her mom locked up etc, tell them everything, but her mom pushed away her real friends. She doesn't have anyone. And yes she makes a ton of money she could support herself, but think about how lonely she is, all she has is her mom, but her mom just happens to be abusive. I 100% agree that she either knows it but doesn't want to believe that her mom really doesn't care or love her, or that shes just "that brainwashed" but I think she knows it absolutely, but I think she feels trapped. It is awfully sad. And I think the times where she said "that stuff was scripted" etc talking about her ED.. I think that was the "real eugenia" I don't think that was fake, but... her mom DID NOT like her getting help... so.. her mom probably made her shut up about it and could have also very well possibly told her things like "you never had an ED they were just lying to you" etc. either way her life has got to be filled with lies in her head. I think her mom might have gotten worried when she made those videos acknoledging her disorder thinking "no if she gets better I might lose control I dont want her to get better mentally" so I think that her mom very well could have possibly shut that down. I know very well if we watch her then we are watching someone who is actively slowly dying, but I think if anyone watches her/interacts with her, it should be with kindness. I don't think she deserves all of the backlash not with what she is probably going through, the people who are nice to her on the internet genuinely is probably the happiest things she gets. Also this could be a hot take but what if she is TRYING to 💀 in order to escape the situation... she "has to make content" we know that, since she is her moms personal bank, but what if she feels that d*ing from being too skinny is the only way to do it, but until then shes showing interest in things she likes? Very dark way to look at it, but we don't know. A life like that would be extremely miserable. No one in their RIGHT MIND would want to live like that "ON PURPOSE" it is extremely sad

@PatriciaMakesThings

Thank you for sharing this video. I think you've hit the nail on the head. I just recently started watching some of Eugenia's videos and I immediately noticed the fact that she never has friends around (except for maybe Jeffree Star who is equally toxic imo) and if she's out in public her mother is always with her. As someone who grew up with a narcissistic mother, I see so many warning signs. Growing up, my own mom would get angry if I started doing chores (sweeping the floor, washing the dishes, etc.) either because I "wasn't doing it right" or she perceived it as a slight against her own housecleaning abilities. So, my room was the only clean one in the house and I had to sneak clean other areas or it would never get done. It was a strange dynamic because she kept me under lock and key and I barely had any friends, but at the same time she didn't really acknowledge my existence as anything outside of herself. I took care of her for a very long time because she had had multiple back surgeries, but it finally reached a breaking point when I was in my early twenties where I HAD to get away from her. I ended up moving over 500 miles away, got into therapy, met my husband and built my own life. And then my mom started coming to stay at our house and she would come up with excuses for staying a month or more at a time until I finally had to put my foot down and tell her she could come 1-2 weeks tops. Of course, she took my request for boundaries as a personal insult and made it a big deal, but I could finally see the situation for what it was. Abusive. The reason I'm sharing all of this is because I think Eugenia is in a similar (worse) situation and I worry she might be beyond the ability to get herself out of it and get help, both physically and mentally. I check in on her a lot just to see if she's still alive because she has gotten so incredibly frail. I don't want to see her story become just another Netflix special about the horrors of parental abuse. Sorry for writing so much. I just appreciate your video and felt the need to share. ❤️

Eugenia has figured out that her mom feels more secure and less combative when Eugenia pretends to be a naive and ignorant 4 year old who constantly praises how much her mom knows and how much smarter her mom is. It’s the subconscious source of the ED as well - to make herself small and forever childlike because her mom never wants her to grow up. The mom wouldn’t be able to handle losing that sense of full control over her. It’s why Eugenia seems stressed (and probably feels like she’s betraying her mom…and I’m sure the mom feels betrayed) when Eugenia successfully learns something new because it signifies she is capable. That’s why you ALWAYS see Eugenia giving up in these videos where she’s doing something new - and handing the task off to her mom or calling herself a failure. It’s a protective mechanism because she realizes she is walking into dangerous territory by attempting to learn ANYTHING new. Eugenia CANNOT show that she is a capable adult because it would make her mother feel angry, jealous, and heartbroken…. and she would take this out on Eugenia by belittling her and asserting even more suffocating control over her than she already has (likely taking away even the smallest of freedoms that Eugenia is allowed). I think that the mom is fully aware that Eugenia’s ED is significantly shortening her lifespan…but I think that’s an ideal scenario to the mom. She probably imagines that they will both die around the same time, and that’s perfect because Eugenia could never survive without her (not true, but I think this is what the mom thinks). I think she also feels as if the pros to Eugenia having an ED (and being fully dependent on her in every way) significantly outweigh the cons (Eugenia gaining confidence and health and moving out and starting an independent life). If Eugenia ever shows signs of improvement or independence or confidence…I’m sure the mom calls her selfish and mean and cruel, and basically let’s Eugenia know that if she EVER becomes a normal 29 year old, the mom will consider her an enemy and completely cut her out of her life. It’s amazing what a daughter or son will do for their parent’s love and approval.

Children are often loyal to a fault when it comes to their parents. I think it's called enmeshment where both daughter and mother are so tied up in each others emotions that they become one person. I've also heard that ed is a way to get out of a hard situation. Some people would rather "die" than get out of a toxic family dynamic. It's like trying to "disappear".

Of course, I don’t know much about her situation and I do hope some people are trying to help. Her mom reminds me a lot of mine…. Histrionic personality disorder, controlling, yet “loving” , lives through her children, puts her emotional insecurities on their child, refusal to live in the real world (stuck in their delusions) If Eugenia was to get better her mother would magically be “diagnosed with something terrible” my mother did the same throughout my life… I was like Eugenia too, I got down to 90 lbs and wanted to go out with starvation being the cause. She needs to be away from her mom, for a long time

Its starting to look like EITHER she loves the attention via her daughter, but wants to control her. OR her mother fully has munchausen by proxy, or a combination of both (& I dont throw that around lightly). Everthing is so tightly controlled she wants to keep her a child. I was a childhood cancer patient, and yes its not the same but having multiple relapses always sorta increases the protective mode in my parents. Even when I was 30 years old. BUT THIS IS NOT THAT they always tried to do their best to be protective yet encouraging. Ive had a life where I have lived in 4 different counties, and had a life outside the cancer (which is always there as its incurable). I did not expect to make it to 40. It was a miracle HELPED by my parents. Eugenia has not had this. She has been coddled & controlled to a level that is not normal.

Absolutely. It's very clear to most that her mother has definitely taken over and dominated Eugenia's life so much so Eugenia is quite infantile. However, an important aspect which many miss is that Eugenia also deliberately acts like a young girl and exaggerates acting helpless and like she doesn't know how to do anything because she herself panders to fetishists, mostly men who pay her to watch Eugenia behave and dress like a young girl for their own perverted desires. There is therefore a sinister role Eugenia is actively playing by frequently flashing during her streams, using a high-pitched baby voice, having her hair in child-like pigtails with ribbons, her bedroom is full of toys a young girl would have, and she uses baby-talk frequently. It is important to take note of this because Eugenia knows exactly what she is doing by behaving as she does and especially flashing on streams - she is pandering to the fetishists and knows they pay to watch her.

She is pretending. Her content is very fetish-oriented- from the skimpy clothes obviously way too big for her skeletal frame, stuggling to do things which require moderate physical strength to acting as if she has the mental capacity of a toddler- it's all theatre to satisfy someone's sick fantasy. What is absolutely puzzling is why do it, if not for money. Someone commented that her parents are independently wealthy, which makes the case even more bizarre.
