Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.
Check your local regulations, as each state and territory is different, before you travel into or though NP with your dog. Here is the Parks Victoria website for those of you wishing to read up on Victoria's laws 👉 www.parks.vic.gov.au/things-t...

I didn't think Fern would be such a cruel branch manager. Wipping poor Gadzie because he wasn't working as hard as she thought he should work. On the other hand, she looked really cute doing it. Smiling Boxers are the best Boxers.

Gold paydirt bags can be SUPER easy fun if you don't live in a gold zone. Look for ones that offer a guaranteed minimum amount of gold. Chris, Pauly, Dan Hurd, Klesh all have great value added paydirt with guaranteed ROI. I once bought several bags and got a BONUS BAG with over a gram inside a guaranteed 0.5gram bag! Do fun to reveal some shiny bits for no work!

I live in Ohio as well. There is lots of fine "fly poop" gold all over the mid and western side of the state (the glacial till side). Even some small pickers. With a dredge you can pull 1 gram days easily.

Forgetting things? Make a check-list and copy up 15 or so. Use it every trip - load up the items you might otherwise forget and then chuck that copy. Find something not on your list that you find you need on a particular trip? Add it and chuck the defective lists and make new copies. I am NOT trying to be an all-knowing horse's ass or sarcastic. This is an overlooked little hack that REALLY DOES WORK and has saved me several times from frustration in the middle of a spur-of-the-moment trip.

The reason the spider survived, is because the flame starts outside of the hole, where the gas and oxygen have mixed. The hottest part of the flame is even further out, where the gases are fully combined and burning -- plus the heat is being continually pushed away from the nozzle (towards the end of the flame) by the continuous stream of fresh gas. At least that's my theory :D
