I've seen so many chairs on this channel that are "the best chair for x price point", that i don't even know what to believe anymore😅
@sleepy407810 күн бұрын
ye and all of a sudden u have some of them who had a chair which they recommended for years and all of a sudden they find some new issues like ''oh after 5 hours it hurts my tailbone'' its a trick to sell u all the chairs. IMO anything from herman, steelcase, fern if digital knit, its all major upgrade to any sub 200$ chairs and it will last a lifetime
@sleepy407810 күн бұрын
I personally tried many chairs but i went for steelcase leap since i think overall its one of best chairs as it will fit majority of people, and also its warranty is amazing

We try our best to answer the most commonly asked questions on the channel. Example, what is the best gaming chair for X price. Then we tell you why we like it and reasons why it might not be great. Those things remain consistent as well as our take on expectation for products at a certain price point -Greg

When I don't care about the design, but mainly use the chair for gaming: What would you choose? Ergohuman Gen2 (Mesh or Leather) or Mavix M9? One of the two chairs will be the one for me. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 220 pounds

I would definitely buy the Fractal Design Recline if it had a longer seatpan, softer - or no seat side bolsters, a deeper recline and armrests that didn't move so easily in the back and forth position. I really hope Fractal listens and makes improvements to a v2 version of the Recline.

Emerge Vortex is typically on sale for $119.99-149.99. I've only seen it hit $99 a couple of times. Staples' comprehensive 5-year furniture protection is $35 (covers regular wear and tear), and given the chair was really only engineered to last 3 years, may be worth it for those who tend to end up with peeling faux leather, broken mechanisms, flat cushions, or worn out gas tubes. One of my former co-workers has worn out and replaced his chair using this protection plan a few times already, and I've heard stories of others doing the same.

The link to the cheat sheet is a page with "chair comfort tier list signup form" on it, but the form is nowhere to be seen (clean browser with no adblocker: same result).

I know you've probably been asked this a thousand times. But what is the difference between the logitech gaming embody vs the regular embody? I know back in the day the gaming embody had extra padding but as far as i could find on the internet, the regular embody has that as well now so are they the same now?

Forward tilt is a killer feature on Aeron for fps games.

This was the video I was looking for. I have seen plenty of your videos discussing good “office chairs” but I wanted to see one related to gaming. As far as I’m aware, you guys also play video games? The two aren’t entirely different, what makes a great office chair will often make a great “gaming” chair but there are some differences. The biggest difference lies in the arm pads. Some high end chairs have arm pads that are kinda wobbly and move too much around. I’m not saying that the arm pads shouldn’t be adjustable, but after you adjust them they still wobble back and forth, which is a dealbreaker for gaming.

Any reason to buy the Gaming Logitech Embody over the regular embody if the base embody can be had at $400 cheaper than the gaming embody from a group discount? Aside from aesthetics like colour selection that is, our group discount only allows all black spec for the regular embody. Thanks

Interesting that the Haworth Fern gaming chairs didn't make the list. I've been seeing reviewers and commenters pointing out some serious materials, build and QC isuues with those chairs.

@BTODTV I am 5′ 10″ (178 cm) and 165lbs (75kg) and wanna buy a new chair while the current discounts last. Home usage for like 4hrs gaming and chill out sessions in the evenings most of the time.I tend to do straight focused position while playing competitive fps games but also need option to do some more relaxed postures here and there. Was looking at the embody gaming but not sure if it's not more for relaxed lean back postures rather than doing straight focused ones. Also if the arm rests wont get too forward to my desk and interfere with it while getting close to it while focused gaming sessions (i go like 3″ between belly and desk currently). Would you recommend it for my use case or maybe some of the other high tier variants would better suit me? Gotta decide soon before the discounts end this month. I have close to none showrooms in my city for most of the chairs so it will be very hard to try them personally...

As someone who is 6’1” 250 pounds, I absolutely hate the mesh Aeron chair because of the pressure points on the thighs. With that said, are there any major downsides for over 6’ folks wanting to pick up the Logitech Embody?
@Shinoda401310 күн бұрын
I'm 6'1'' - 6'2'' with similar weight and i have the regular Embody, i feel like it's better than HM Aeron OR Mirra but it has it's downsides. I feel like the seat is not confortable and kinda pokes into your ass/legs (even after adding 20mm foam) same can be said for the lumbar support which is jsut a plastic piece poking into your back ( i cannot use it without a lumbar pillow from IKEA). For a 2000 EUR ( 1000 EUR second hand market in Europe) chair i expected more.

@@Shinoda4013Have you had a chance to try the Logitech version? I’ve heard it has a bit more cushion and a gel layer to address this issue.

Yes, the Ergohuman and Ergohuman Xtreme are great picks at the Under $1000 range. Better than the Fujin Pro. This video only includes chairs that are marketed as "gaming chairs." - Robert

I'll slam the Embody for not being perfect at that HIGH price point. Chair creeks LOUDLY, armrests leave a lot to be desired, no headrest, copper infuse does nothing when shown through a thermal gun, displayed gaming embody at herman miller store was over 1/4 inch crooked(I used a level) Which is why I did not buy one. Then add in the not so often complaints(support system pokes fabric). Its not even "near perfect". Then the regular embody now costs more than the gaming-embody. So what really is better? Its a "lavish brand" yet the supposedly re-engineered chair with copper is now cheaper than the regular embody? The upgrade to the regular embody happened over a year before the price hike. Then if I'm buying a 400 dollar chair every 4 years roughly, that makes herman millers warranty null n void. With the better "long term" deal being the 400 dollar chair. Since I could replace my chair at 400, 5x which passes the 12-year warranty by 8 years.... For the the same type of money. Not to mention extra chairs if I wanted them, or extra parts. Only saving grace for herman miller has there, is resale value. Now the aeron, I was impressed with. But its not the chair for me. I want to relax more and that chair hurts me then. Then I can't find one.... Not one review of an gaming-embody that was actually bought and paid for by the reviewer, let alone a 2+year review after. You guys are close, since you might just take it off the store inventory. But thats still not what I said.

You guys are just copying off of each other in the first half of the video, no variety.. There's better chairs out there like the AndaSeats ($300+) and Dowinx ($100+) brands which both have lots of positive reviews for a reason.
