The Magnus Mechanical Fuel Pump is the baddest option for High Horsepower Honda builds. We install the Magnus on a Turbo B18 Civic. The car is built to handle 1000+HP and we expect to make some fast passes this year! The Turbo GSR Civic has a 67MM Precision Turbo and will be powered by a Humble Performance Built 84.5mm B18 VTEC Engine.

Have you checked out the mechanical fuel pump system system used by Brett Lasala's Snot Rocket? It mounts the pump under the fuel cell to maximize self-priming and utilizes a cable/adaptor to drive the pump. His drive adaptor is mounted off the back of the dry sump pump, but they probably have an adaptor for a cam drive. The setup has proven 100% reliable on his 2,900hp Coyote motor as witnessed by his recent drag and drive victories.

Do you have any updates now that you’ve had the pump on for a year? I have some questions about the distributor mount vs the cam gear mount and which is more reliable? Thanks for the videos!

hope we can help keep things simple and safer, we have a single intank pump that flows 1380lph on the stock battery and alternator, Calvo's viper does 6s in a street car full interior ac with just 1 pump. 2700hp. Fastest 1/2 mile @ 227.9mph porsche from aim performance nj is also running 1 pump intank.

Every 1300+HP B Series SFWD car disagrees with you.
@FPRTuning
@FPRTuning 4 жыл бұрын
@@humbleperformance no the problem is that the other thing works, but if you ask any ecu manfucaturer or guys who are wiring and tuning standalones they will tell you that a crank trigger mounted to the crank is 100x better than anything cam mounted, you could even just take a oscilloscope to a stock b20 crank trigger and see it's a much cleaner signal than a cam mounted trigger
@humbleperformance
@humbleperformance 4 жыл бұрын
Obviously a dedicated crank and cam signal would be superior as far as accurate positioning, but claiming anything in this video is false is downright incorrect. This setup has been tried and true for over a decade and is extremely accurate and reliable. Claiming bs is ignorant.
