I just started disk golf but I love the pure. Had a star animal first then got a retro pure. I love how smooth the edge is and the flat dome. Are there any other similar feel putters to the pure? I wanna try other flat dome, smooth putters.

Pure and Hope are the putting putter that come to my mind for Lat64. Faith is a Judge style I used for a while until I stopped on the Hope.

I have been putting with the discmania Logic and have loved it. It’s made my putting so much better. It’s essentially a shallow P2 which is super nice.

Gateway Wizard/Warlock are widely used. Also no love for the AGL Discs putters?! Madrone, Manzanita and Ponderosa are all money putting putters and great plastic variety.

Wizard and magics 🎩 are some of the best soft putters. If you like the way tire rubber flies these are my favorite

I know people are gonna say I’m crazy for saying this, but I love putting with Harps. Such a versatile disc! I can do so much with them! I used to put with JK Pro Aviars and switched to Harps because of the beaded rim and flat feel. I do use the origio moonshine harp for my putting putter, and VIP plastic for putting in wind or needing just a little more glide, or throwing off the tee. Keep up the great content! Love you guys!

Not that crazy, i used to putt with Harps and Zones often about 45feet and in. They feel heavier flight wise and always seem to stick in the basket. My typical putting putters chain out more often and the wind messes with them more.

absolutely love the luna for what it does. it's a putter made for a certain throw. you can't make it do what you want, you have to throw it how it wants to be thrown. that dependability is what does it for me. plus it almost cannot be beat in. 2 years later it is still going to hyzer like it is out of the box

Yeah, like some others in the comment section, wondering why the Pure was left off. I putted with them for a while, now I putt with the Roach, but I throw Pures. Might be going back though. Consistent. Lots of plastic choices.

So what I heard was the Fierce is really good and the Luna is Swanky but they are both overpriced not necessarily overrated. Even Luke, when talking about DGA, said Discraft has great plastic. IMO discraft has the best plastic, even the base plastic, which is why it’s more. Both Fierce and Luna are SWANKY!

The most under rated putter is the dynamic discs marshal. Once you get it nice and seasoned it’s a dead straight putter. It also doubles as an amazing throwing putter. It’s too bad that DD doesn’t seem to make them anymore. I switched to the PA-3 because I wanted something readily available.

I've changed putters a handful of times and my longest used putting putters were the p2s. But I always felt that they were just slightly deeper than I'd prefer, otherwise I loved them. I experimented with a couple others here and there and then when I heard the rainmaker was basically a shallower p2 I decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. I haven't putted with a p2 since. And I had to buy more rainmakers. For me the feel and comfort was very noticeable. Now I'm just annoyed because I've got a stack of p2s that aren't getting used, and they cost almost half as much each. Why discmania, why?!

Luna is expensive so I tried switching to roaches to save money thinking they were the same. They are indeed not the same. A smidge more shallow and a smidge more overstable than the roach…. Makes a difference. Luna is the goat.

i started with a dx aviar in 2020. lasted about 6 months before it got to beat up. switched to pa3 in 300. it's S$$. i briefly switched to a pa1 in 300s, that i still use for windy cond. but the pa3 reigns supreme!

I can switch between the pure and keystone and not miss a beat. I also used to putt with wardens and only switched because they kept hitting the pole and popping out of the basket. I had so many dead center putts not stick.

Divergent might not have the best plastic, but my putting putter is their Alpas. It's very thin and awkward at first, but now, I don't putt with anything else. The stiff rubber grabs great against the chains.

I use a paint putter in base plastic and is some of the best base plastic. I’ve ever felt it is sticky not too much, but just enough to get a good grip especially when it’s wet out and it is very lady, and is very straight one of the best putters I’ve used and it’s currently what I put with and haven’t found anything so far that’s better and I have tried a lot of putters.

Living in Sweden; Hmm.. do I want 10 more Ground Rune's? Sure! Lets order from Finland and poff 3 days later its here ;P Its the putter I have stayed with the longest, the mistakes are mine. Using the Storm plastic with no problems for attempting short stright throw-ins, soo stright up to +200' throwing power.. not so domey. Else I got the Knife, its really good for throwing, a bit less stable than the almost twin in Yikun Gui which is amazingly domey in my recent purchase. ;)

I would have agreed until I used the Agent at the last Trilogy challenge. I am a pretty good putter and was not expecting to like the Agent but man, I started drilling everything and won in the division. So I stuck with it for a couple month now, it feels pretty similar just a touch more stable. Throws absolutely great as does the Warden. Warden is dead straight as a thrower where Agent is a bomber, rip on it disc.

Where's the PURE??? Also, you should try Innova's Hydra putter (3-3-0-2). Most people avoid it because of the "floats in water" feature, considering it a gimmick disc, but it's an awesome putter. It has a similar profile to an Aviar but with a little blunter nose.

I am one of those weirdos that uses a Link to putt and throw. I like the P2s but I wanted a bead for the feel. Also, they are pretty cheap only like 10-12 dollars

I love my envy from mvp and i use it for throwing and putting. It was definitely over hyped but after it calmed down it’s definitely my go to putter

@@jarrettjarecke8950 I love it. It's already less stable than Glow/Neutron/Plasma and beats in fairly quickly. It makes a great complement to one of its more stable brothers. I prefer electron firm, but I'd grab an electron soft if I lost the firm one and didn't have much time to properly season the disc. Electron softs beat in almost immediately.

Good thing that this list is subjective. Everyone prefers something different I know people who put with pigs and to some that’s crazy but it works for them. I personally have switched putters multiple times and know use the Luna and love it. I putted with envy’s, PA3s and a good number of others and now on Lunas. That could change in a week for all I know hopefully not but who knows. I do agree that by this point the base Lunas could use a price drop like other putters but it is what it is.

I ordered a couple PA-3's from an online retailer maybe 2 months ago and when they arrived I was pretty disappointed. They were dented in several places and there were irregularities with the the plastic. Not sure what's up with the quality control. They fly okay but I feel like they could have been a lot better if they were in good condition. If you had told me they had been used for a couple seasons I would have believed you except for the total lack of any dirt. Maybe it was the retailer but I haven't had issues with any other discs and I've ordered probably 30 different discs from them.

Putter plastic is easy to dent. Probably the retailer or shipping bump..most makers have ok quality control with misprints and bumps and imperfections..... I know cuz I buy them!

The Dagger is a putting putter. You don’t throw it. It’s very very similar to a big bead aviar or wizard.

I would say the nomad doesn't have much of a bead. Especially compared to the ion. I got a fierce in a mystery box and have actually really liked it. I still use my roaches much more often.

The only good Divergent disc's disc is the Lawin. 12, 5, -3, 2. Really good out of the box. It flies farther than my Hades.

The Narwhal and Leviathan are the worst discs I've ever thrown as a beginner. The Kraken RIPS and it makes no sense because you're right, the plastic feels terrible to throw. The kraken easily outperforms my leopard starter disc but I hate throwing it. I stopped throwing these like two weeks after starting the hobby.

Kind of funny, i haven't liked any prodigy (except FD3 that i recently lost) or discmania discs. Keep buying 'em and trading them away. Didn't like the Envy, but i have been using Proxy as my main putter. Soft Roaches, Rubber Blend Luna, and Penny Putter are my highest percentage putters. They tend to be bigger in my hand and I think i hate that, but honestly, my personal numbers say i need to stick with fatter putters. Funny how we refuse to accept facts sometimes and go with our gut.
