Honestly, instead of doing 5 top 30 lists for each strict position, I wish y'all did 3 top 50 lists, separated by guard/wing/big. The modern game especially is so positionless, any one of these guys could end up on a big team and be at the 2, or on a small team and be at the 4.

@@reimixo it's less things to go through, that's the whole point, dividing it into less positions makes it simpler, and yet also more accurate to the modern NBA where very few players play only one position. Kawhi is a wing and I feel that's much more obvious than deciding exactly if he's a 2, 3, or 4. But he's definitely not a point guard, or a center, so it's easy to just call him a wing. His exact position would depend a lot on his situation but he will always be a wing

My argument for Tatum over Lebron in the year 2024 is this. If you swapped Tatum and Lebron’s teams, The Celtics with Lebron will be marginally better, you can’t improve much past a 64 win team. But the Lakers with Tatum would be a top 3 team in the west. All of Tatum’s lower offensive stats this year have been due to him incorporating his teammates into the game. I’ve seen Tatum when he doesn’t have all of those pieces, and he can take over on his own! If Tatum didn’t have a superteam, I can guarantee you that all of his offensive numbers would be up, and the team record would be better.

Max Strus p slept on, he’s a legit good p&r passer and playmaker and can run the offense Ina pinch. He’s great rebounder and has a crazy high motor, legit good guard defender and smaller wings. He’s a good cutter and finisher but He got hoed by the bickertsaff offense, he’s a guy that needs plays called for him to get good looks from 3 because of how respected he is. He had no good plays to get him open last year and it’s gonna be different in the Atkinson system trust. Shooters like him don’t have a good impact w out proper pin downs and all that to get them open. He rarely got good looks last year but I think he was better on the Cavs at everything other than shooting than he was on the heat and I rly only blame jb for the shooting slump.
