In case anyone is curious, there are 8 Main Ghosts (Thorfinn, Sasappis, Isaac, Hetty, Alberta, Flower, Pete, & Trevor), & at least a dozen Minor Ghosts (Nygel & 2 British soldiers, Nancy & at least 6 other Cholera victims, Elias, Molly, Crash, Stephanie, & Jessica) that currently or formally haunt the mansion the series takes place at.

Not the same as the UK version, but after you get over the American lense of the show there are some proper laugh out loud moments, like Flower trying to sit on a wall and falling straight through.

Just slightly funnier than his UK counterpart. The way Pat crashes into a tree while trying to drive himself to hospital is pretty funny but I'd say Pete edges it here cos he was shot by a little girl

I’ve seen the first 3 seasons of the UK series on (HBO) Max before they moved it to Paramount Plus. Looked decent enough to me. I’m hoping they can get the last 2 seasons somewhere so I can finish watching this. P+ only has the first 2 seasons (just those that aired on CBS during the writers’ strike).

Okay I'm an American and I watch all the American seasons of ghosts it was never explained the UK version oh well only saw two two seasons of it but that's all I had here so I got it all figured out with some of them are and I'm still working on it so what was the dumb deaths of the UK anybody know

Considering he’s a pretty iconic character and the other ghosts were relatively distinct from their original counterparts (aside from Trevor who instead of a middle aged classist politician is now a young finance douche), they probably wanted him to work as connective tissue between the two shows. I.e. show fans of the og show that the American version isn’t completely different

He’s one of the few that can be translated from this version to the American version due to the US having the Boy Scouts. The reason they didn’t make Trevor a politician was because Issac was sorta that already they interviewed the writters so that’s why they made that change since he would also be a character that would be easy to translate in the US version.

An estate in the UK has a different history than upstate New York and most Americans never took British History before the Industrial Revolution. In the US versions, the local history makes her a Prohibitionist jazz singer and the characterization that comes with it.
