I remember James crying when he talked to his mum during the lockdown on Zoom. And I cried before that when his pa played the sax for their neighbours. I was recovering from covid, I'm an essential worker and got it from work in April 2020. I'm so happy things are getting back. They're both so funny and sweet. Love to all. @@KrakenIsland64 the principle is that they are in their own national league, with no other countries included. It'd be like Man City winning the Premier League and calling themselves the World Champions.

And the difference is there are soccer leagues all around the world. There are not (high level) American football leagues. NFL teams playing existing teams outside the US would be like playing high school teams, but if you want to see that I'm all for it.

@@KrakenIsland64 they created a sport and league that only teams in their own country could compete in and even leaned into it by calling it American Football, which is funny in itself. Imagine each sport having the country of origin alongside it. You can't be a world champion of a sport if there aren't international tournaments for you to prove so. It's English Soccer by the way.
