they were saying something about a water main breaking, so I'm guessing water flooded the road then froze. The car hit ice, causing the driver to lose control, as it's very difficult to brake, or steer on ice. As to the co-worker, I have no idea.

Lol. The Anchor man Tim wasn’t actually watching the footage of her, he was only listening to what she said. That’s why he didn’t react. He and the network clarified that online. Often times when there is someone covering live news on the field the anchors at the studio don’t have a screen showing them their live footage. Anyway, the jokes about it were pretty funny and I’m glad everyone was OK.
