This is illogical, BBC need to sort their programming. The links cost money, radio is not free, transmitters cost etc.
@federalnoise

@@karlg2950 I'm sorry to hear that. I can understand your point on licence fees. The BBC is a company that should never have been broken up. The internet license is fine etc and indeed, catch up programming is a very nice option for some, but others find it strange and confuse it with sitting in an airport lounge. Maybe they can refloat the BBC like some of the other sunken businesses in the UK, who knows? I maintain a licence but rarely watch nowadays. Mild programming rather than intensely overproduced trash could make them great again in my opinion.

I wrote an article in the 90s saying that if we gave all our industry to China in exchange for us focusing solely on financial services then the day would come when the disparity in wealth and power between the west and east would lead to world war and we’d find ourselves without the manufacturing base, natural resources and workforce skills to defend ourselves and thus inevitably not only become subservient to China but lose even our financial industries after an economic collapse and become an impoverished agricultural subsistence society once again. I was 20. People said I was a fool and knew nothing about economics. 30 years later I’m shocked by how my common sense insight was pure prophecy. I’ve since come to realize that our leaders knowingly deceived us into such a trap in the hopes of global communism - which makes them even bigger fools than I though because far from them using China in such a manner, the Chinese and Russians will merely flip the tables on them and rightly so. The only solution today is for us to forge good trade and business relations with China, effectively partner Europe with Russia and stay the hell out of others business. NATO world police harping needs to end immediately. We will NOT win WW3

@@whatnextincomo I was never a great fan of the human race, but after that insanity I learnt just how easily things like Nazi Germany, the Russian Gulags, Pol Pot etc etc can happen. Because human nature knows no limits to the depths of its evil once given the right circumstances. As they say, civilsation is indeed the thinnest of veneers. And once that veneer is ripped aside, the mask slips and reveals that humanity is actually the devil incarnate.

Hi June. It was good listening to you speaking with Neil Oliver. What you're saying here is encouraging. It is easy to be down when what we have endured and must not forget, are enduring and must resist and change, is on our minds. We the ordinary British people, not MPs and co. are the real Conservatives, you said. Yes. Have you spoken or written about how you did so well in business? I'd be interested in knowing about that. I also was pro-Brex, despite having been an expat for a long time and despite the real restrictions it places on my freedom of movement. You mentioned our writers. British culture is definitely wrapped up in its classical literature. Especially children's lit. I think we each need to understand that, and read the classics at home, and to read up on our history. Regardless of our occupations and perceptions of social class, which sadly tend to limit us all in our thinking. I feel at home and homesick for the company of good fellow-Brits when listening to you. Keep up the good work! Show less

I'm self-employed. I'm being totally screwed over with IR35. I pay a ridiculous amount of tax and double NI and I get absolutely zero employee benefits - even though I am taxed more than a permanent employee. Sunak pushed the button on implementing this shit legislation, and I strongly doubt Starmer will ever reverse it.

Love your positivity June. I enjoy hearing you speak so much. Had you thought of standing as a Reform UK candidate yourself? I think you’d make such a great MP because you’d genuinely serve the people and not the establishment!

We need more people paying taxes not more taxes from those struggling in work. We no longer train children to go to work with hand skills taught in school. Too many attending university ending career less. We promote more building needed but don’t promote the trades that do all that. We used to have great manufacturing trades in engineering now everything is made in China and Taiwan. We (along with others) have built china into one of the most powerful nations on the planet. We had slogans “investing in people” problem is it wasn’t the people of Britain.

“Wales is woke left bollox” - classic June! Only disagreement is that if legislation does not affect you say nothing. We have to speak up when others are affected or they whittle away at sanity imho.

I really get what you are saying June. I started off very much the same way you did. In Rishton, nr Blackburn of all places. Around 1970, or thereabouts, my dad showed me all about property development and there and I built a little portfolio. Anyway... that's another story. I am in my mid 70s now, and have not and will not be acquiescing to any more of their nonsense. The last vaccine I was in school when I was 14.. I am back 'down yere' in my 'omeland of South Wales. Love your videos and sense of humour. It reminds me of my Lancashire days! Remembering The Cavendish, wondering if it is still there. You're a breath of fresh air. I think if there is any nonsense from 'them'. There is going to be a huge push-back. 👍👍

The system often works against many employees. With the introduction of zero-hour and short-term contracts, complications have arisen in the benefits system that penalises those who accept employment. Once individuals declare they are employed, regardless of the contract's duration, they face penalties such as a six-week wait before their benefits are reinstated.

You havent heard of Mark Devlin then June. I do agree with your messages. I get angry at people stating tgey are ready to leave this country. What did my dad and his peers go through to give us a future for us to give up? And the North is great, no nonsense, say what you mean, dont tell anyone what youve got and dont blow your own trumpet! Im a White Rose mind.
