I remember when my daughter was really young. I would take her to the grocery store and tell her what everything was - this is a can of soup, this is broccoli, these are carrots, etc. She was always ahead of her contemporaries in school for vocabulary! People would look at me very strangely, but I think it paid off!

You make me want to move to the high grounds in Panama. My heart is with sustainability and permaculture. I garden with hay as compost and mulch. I have to hold my breath or cover my nose and mouth when moving it around. It is hard on me. The moldy dusty hay. Please be mindful for yourselves and especially your beautiful, innocent, precious, treasure, Sadie. So much we don't know till they let us know as new parents. Been there. Our babies are our teachers. Sending much love. ❤

@@kimconley3782 Studies have shown that newborns have the ability to establish and self regulate body temperature within the first hours of birth and Sadie is already past what is considered newborn stage. That being said, of course she still requires adequate protection from the elements.

It is going to be SO CUTE to see lil backpack baby, when y'all get comfortable with having her behind you. It is a thousand times easier to do everything once they are on your back! I babywore my kids too. My autistic child was 80# on his dad's back in a custom built carrier. So much safer than him bolting from us. I loved watching her sing along with mom. So cute. Y'all are kicking ass and taking names.

Almost perfect timing. I started thinking it was about time for you folks to come home. I came down with my one case of yearly flu. For a week I cared nothing for the web. Feeling good today so I picked up where I left off. So happy for your health happy baby and your return to Central America. I lived in the Canal Zone for 5 years in the 60's early 70's on the Atlantic sided. Our beautiful slice of heaven no longer exists but in our memories.

Ohhhh my babies 👶 …. You guys are so stinking precious from beginning to end! The opening of this video was my fave watching Sadie wake up! There is nothing better except for showing Sadie her first rainbow 🌈. Kaylee , u nursing 👨🍼 on the front porch sipping ur coffee ☕️ watching the gorgeous view. And then ur angelic voice soothing Sadie as she cooed with u!!! Y’all all seem so much more laid back and calm than when I had 3 girls under 6. Seems like forever ago. Great 😊 job with the Spanish vowel dance 💃. She is a sponge 🧽 taking it ALL in! I’ve heard the baby sign language 🤟 for “more” and other such words important to communicate with Sadie thru certain signs before she begins to talk. Unfortunately, I didn’t do. But have seen and it’s AHMAZING! Uncle Roddie and Uncle Pooh?!?! And Ellyanna are so loving 🥰 with Sadie too! Makes my heart ♥️ so happy 😁 for you all. AND JORDAN, I love your hair!!! And Happy Belated Birthday! May God continue to bless you all always! In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen 🙏

So glad to see you back in Panamá. I never had a bathtub for my daughter. She bathe my daughter, my Colombian friend show me how to base my daughter in the sink, the key is that place a hand towel in the bottom of the sink so the baby doesn't slip, it worked like a charm.

I have a green house. Those extra flanges for the shelf, don't cut them off. Drill a hole in them, and hang baskets. It will give you just a little more growing space. They are useful for plants that like culinary herbs that you don't need big spaces for, such as basil.

Heck we just had 35mph sustained winds with 6pm-h gusts and a blizzard here in Michigan on Lake Huron. 30mph sustained winds are a regular thing. It’s the gusts at tornado speeds that freak me out. We had two tornados hit our town of Port Austin Michigan last summer 3 weeks apart in the same location. That’s like lightening striking the same spot twice ! It is good to see you guys back at it again on Lola’s farm.

Gardening tip….putting straw on the bottom of the bed can cause the nitrogen to be drawn down from the top to the bottom of the bed. So plant nitrogen fixers initially and keep an eye out for nutrient deficiencies. Coffee grounds are a great source of nitrogen for plants BTW.

3 things... Uncle poo poo's hat reminds me of the kids hat from the sandlot. And also have you guys considered getting a plasma cutter, it would save a lot of time and money in cutoff wheels. The third is you may want to look into building a Georgia buggy, you will never want to use a wheel barrow again, I have been using a Georgia buggy for the last 15 years no regrets. Much easier and it doesn't try to tip over with heavy loads.

If you have so much straw under your soil in your garden beds, they will sink down a lot as the straw decomposes and you will be adding soil to the beds for a long time, I think you may find planting seeds straight into it may cause you a few difficulties, I’d let it decompose for a few weeks before planting up if I were you. You have so much to do I’d hate for you to have difficulties in the greenhouse. Good luck with everything. Sadie is gorgeous by the way. X

the space at the foot of your bed could have a baby mattress and have netting around it to keep baby when growing bigger to not fall out of the loft. at moment as small can have a netting with mattress as a hamic from the rafters above your bed that can rock her to sleep. the netting will be able to hold weight and able to breath through if baby rolls over.

You should do the bottom of the garden bed filled with branches and leaves and just leave about 5-6” above the layer of hay placed over the wood.. you don’t need all that dirt.. roots only go down a few inches. Plant the garden in the dirt on top and as the wood breaks down under the flowers it produces fertilizer under the dirt.
