All the volvo guys on the fb pages are purist and hate the fact we're "ruining" these cars by swapping out the redblock. Even though the cars have sat abandoned for years going to scrap and we come along and saved them to swap and enjoy but they want them left intact and restored. So we just hate on the redblock in return. it's a fine engine if you wanna live your life sub 200hp or fully build it to make 300 lol, but in no way is it more capable or more reliable than the 3 engine choices we've swapped into them.

For your power steering issues use a electric power steering pump off a Nissan Altima you can get them at Pull-A-Part pretty cheap

you can get some more space if you cut a bit on the front subframe underneath the oilpan and you have to flip those hood stops and get the hood right up

The rack is mounted right under the subframe inside of it. The room we'd gain would be fairly minimal by my measurements...

@Mrh4z-019 a 245 and a 745 rack mount completely different unfortunately. A 245 subframe can be cut alot as shown in our 2 previous 245 builds becausethe rack mounts in front of the subframe. The 745 subframe houses the rack inside of it so cutting it is just gonna expose the rack fractions of an inch on the other side of it. You won't gain anything without relocating the steering rack.

I use to do them awhile back consistently and saw no difference in performance, granted we're netting more views now than back then after i started using the keywords hashtagged into the description, but like i said the algorithm is constantly changing so its hard to please without knowing exactly what its looking for.. I'd argue the "bad habits" mantra doesn't help and the lack of collaboration with any other channels has definitely slowed us down. With that said though, our last 2 videos are ranked #1 and #2 for views in my analytics, but I'll start back writing out video description for you lol. It definitely won't hurt regardless.
