We need to move on to Injustice 3. Cause MK1 is decent but I feel they relied so much on the graphics and DLC guest characters, that they rushed it. MK1 could have been a lot better. Kameo System could have been a lot better. As a Kung Lao main, I have never chosen to not play him in an MK game until now. They need time to build MK into greatness, like they did with MK11. More Gear pieces not less, give us the full MK roster (Not everyone has to be in the story, would hate for a forced storyline just to include every character), every character has to feel special and have their own special abilities like Geras with the time stop or Johnny with starpower. They need to take their time so when the game releases, we'll have the fatalities, babalities, stage fatalities, brutalities and animalities all at the start. The one thing I like the most about Mk 1 is the air combos. If they could keep the air combos and discard the Kameo system all together, things would be better. Don't give us portions of a character we can't play on the main roster. I want to be able to actually play Motaro. And they should definitely bring back the tag team mode. The people miss it.

Give us Shaolin Monks on Switch and MK9 on PS4/5. I recently made a deep dive video of X360 as the last great gen (hope I'm wrong) and when capturing the footage, I re-visited MK9. I'm in awe how amazing it is. The story mode - which serves as a reboot - is great, better than the 2020 movie we got. Maps, outfits are such a tribute to the arcade MK's from the 90's we grew up with.

Plus, we’ve gotten a lot for MK than we thought and I think it’s time we need to slow down on the game series personally because pushing out more of the same IP with half-assed attempts of different stuff is just one way to lose out on profit, even if the IP itself sells well.

Just gonna copy and paste my comment from another video covering this; If this is the end of Injustice, I'm happy with where the story ended. Mortal Kombat is and will always be **the** game from NRS. I just hope the next game is much meatier than MK1, go ALL IN on the IP. Bring back Krypt and Konquest. The thing with Konquest is it doesn't need to be this entire story you go through, meaning they wouldn't need to cut the cinematic story we're used to from NRS, it could be it's own side mode. It would just be cool to roam the MK world as a character, go to the different realms and really just explore, find things to unlock in the main game. I feel like this is what they were going for with invasions, but they missed the mark by like a mile.

I still remember people around me being insanely hype for Injustice 2 coming out. For mortal Kombat, they’re into “real” fighting games in the sense that their competitive scene isn’t a joke. Injustice 3 would undoubtedly sell well due to how long it has been. Make it cool, flashy, bring it fan favorite characters that appeal to a wide audience and you get a new fan base for the casuals it appeals to. I know nether realm studio had to pivot from doing Injustice 3 because WB was having finical issues and knew Mortal Kombat 1 would make more than Injustice 3 but... @@Nunbutvibesant I don’t think people understand how game development works and how timelines work Even before MK11 support ended NRS themselves says the cycle was going to be broken in terms of the release of games The got a new engine to run the game on (UE4) They themselves said they considered making injustice 3 but didn’t want us to wait too long for an MK game so they decided to make MK Ed Boon himself is quoted as saying this With how expensive games are to make now Especially AAA titles like MK I very much doubt they were in the middle of making IJ3 scrapped it wasted all that money then turn around and build brand new models stages and fatalities and cinematics and then two years later release MK1 Especially with WB literally bleeding money It doesn’t make sense Injustice was considered and they were kicking around the idea but it didn’t turn into something actually tangible Here’s what I think the actually timeline is Toward the end of MK11 they were already in the pre planning stages of MK1 in 2021 They develop the game on a brand new engine in 2022 into early 2023 WB wants the game to release in time for the holiday season so they rush them to release in September We get reveal trailers all the way til the day before the game drops Game releases in September in an unfinished state.

I have to be honest. I hate Mortal Kombat 1. Mortal Kombat 10 and 11 were good. Mortal Kombat 1 was a major disappointment for me. I don't like the tag team stuff. It should have been an option to disable it. It was barely ok with me in Injustice, but not Mortal Kombat. Fatalities and Brutalities should have come with the game or be unlocked by playing. Not put in the store for extra money. It is my hope that they will return that format back to the next Mortal Kombat game.

We need a Wonder Woman action RPG. I think Batman needs a break for the moment. Superman, WW, Teen Titans, Flash etc… So many other characters who need a game first.

I still believe that they should make a Batman: Arkham Beyond. (Based around Terry McGinnis) and they could have “holo audio logs” where it’s Bruce Wayne (from previous games) talking about how he trained.

I feel like they're learning the wrong lesson here. SSKTJL was bad because it had a terrible story and it was a live-service looter shooter begging for your money. It didn't fail because the Suicide Squad as characters aren't profitable. If they make a Batman game that's as bad as KTJL it's the same issue. They just need to hire the right devs to make certain games and in the end, make good games.

I think WB might file Injustice 3 under the umbrella of another Mortal Kombat game, since it's made by Neatherrealm. It also has a heavy focus on Batman and a number of well known Batman related characters, so it's likely WB is also including it under the Batman focus. So we probably will be seeing Injustice 3 into the future, but it's very likely to be heavily focused around Batman. The roster is probably going to include mostly going to be big name DC characters that everyone is familiar with a lot of them being Batman characters and characters that were in the previous Injustice Games.

These games to me do have great stories, loved them since I was a kid. But they need something new. I’d be down for another hogwarts style game. The idea of game of thrones would be pretty cool. If it were up to me it would be a cross between Witcher III, and shadows of Mordor. The idea of an engine making new generals or lords at random would be so cool and keep it interesting, maybe even some sort of time/season system when your building your allies up for when winter comes and you deal with the white walkers. Maybe picking a family to be a member of and reinforcing kingdoms with the ability of ultimately having a Great War to see who would rule over all at the end and the option to turn into a mad king/queen or be a fair ruler. What you do in each kingdom will leave the people to love/hate/tolerate you and react with it. I’d even go as far to say I’d be okay if you got the chance to create certain ally’s that way if you make a wrong, main decision, the game can punish you by killing off you or your created ally’s, but you can continue the story as one other main created ally. Sort of that same rule the show had “don’t get to attached to your favorite character, no one is safe”. Just a thought

I really want Injustice 3. I miss the series. Plus I’m curious where they could take the story (guessing Batman’s ending is canon since they made Superman’s ending into a crossover comic with He-Man). I already know they’ll probably add three MK guest characters in dlc which is more MK technically. I just really want to see the game again. And maybe they finally came up with a way to make Beast Boy’s gameplay! It’s been long enough so who knows! And for guest characters, I’m sure there’s some guest characters they wanted in MK who the actors didn’t want to be violently killed in but would be fine appearing in Injustice. Hopefully we get Injustice 3. Although they might make another MK game first. If they do and it doesn’t make as much money then maybe WB Discovery will realize they should have had NetherRealm take a break and they’ll make Injustice 3.

Technically the Injustice games were morally based on the comics. Those comics have come and long ended by now, so it wouldn't really make much sense to make another game taking part within the story of them. Pretty sure it makes sense why they're not returning to the DC franchise.

A Superman game will be epic, but with DC movie universe being rebooted and and the new movie I can see why WB won’t give it the green light even tho it will be a massive mistake. A game can go more in depth than a movie.
