❤ when you said “ I was home sick, but I didn’t even know where that was” my god … I’m a first generation immigrant, and I lived in five countries before I found home here in the United States of America, in this beautiful, amazing country that I call my home today. I knew what you meant and spoke to me deeply. thank you for reminding me. When I exited the plane on July 4 of 1998 I knew I was finally home just like you knew when you arrived and you didn’t have the feeling of this strange strangeness. Our soul knows when we are home and it’s a beautiful thing. ❤

hello from Texas! Sabrina---I am so glad to hear that you are happy here in the US, and felt at home here from the start. So many people from other countries like to criticize this country. Politics aside--because I don't even like our politics--this IS a beautiful country. I have lived in many different parts of it--but haven't seen it all--since it's so big. It's also full of warm, generous, good people (MOST of them!) I am glad you came---and are happy, and at home here ♥

We too were called to leave our 60 acre farm that I had dreamed of forever! We were called to move back to the city to care for our parents. God did a work in me during that time. Then he called us to a small farm in the middle of that city, a place I have watched and loved during my childhood. In that place He called us to reach a Community around us and draw them to the love of Jesus. Blessings on you and your family as you obey the Lord!

We had a 10 acre farm. I had 23 fruit and nut trees, a large garden area, chickens, goats 🐐, solar well pump with 3000 gal holding tank that I bought with my retirement investment. We downsized from a 56 acre small cattle ranch. Then my husband didn't want farm life anymore after retiring. Wanted to move to the coast and fish. I had near everything ready for when hard times come . He was unhappy and I didn't want to move. My daughter was a single mom and needed help. She lives on the TX coast. I bawked at moving. I never wanted to move again. (We had lived in an RV for 2 years on our 56 acres till the home was built. I thought that was our forever place. )Then I said to my Savior, where do I need to go? You moved us miraculously twice before, so if the house sells in 3 weeks or less then I know You want me to go. It soon was under contract with two couples wanting our place. So I knew it was meant to be. Our grandboys needed us. They are teenagers now, and mom has remarried adding 3 more children to the household. I am looking again for a small country home not too far from the kids. I love the Arkansas mountains and keep tugging at my husband to go, but he won't budge. This may be where we are to stay as we are both beginning our 70's. God gave us a nice little home on stilts overlooking a quiet bay. Can't complain about that! Thank you sweet Jesus 💓

@@karennaimo5157 you are absolutely correct! Even though we now have an acre and a half and we call it Open Hand Farm, we only have chickens and gardens. I just found your channel today, and it is such a blessing. We live in North Arkansas, On 14 acres. We are older, I’m 54, but just getting started with some chickens and a few pigs, and my second year of gardening. My dream for the last couple years is to build a homestead, and a KZbin channel, sharing my love of cooking from scratch, milling grains to bake bread, canning and preserving food. I feel a need to try to teach these skills to a new generation, who have no idea. I’m happy for you, for your move to my beautiful home state. I hope you love it as much as I do! May God bless you and your family!

I moved to Arkansas 16 months ago, from cold and snowy Minnesota. Starting a homestead on land I found in very far south Missouri, just over the border. But I'm 63, and have wondered at my sanity. But I felt the Father saying I "just needed to go". I will be learning a lot of new skills this year, trying to get a small cabin built on this land, starting gardens, orchards and getting chickens. But I know I am supposed to be in the Ozarks, and live out the rest of my life in a small town rural setting. I have been living in the travel trailer for these 16 months, but it will be so sweet when I get to live on my 6 acres. Be blessed.

I continuously feel drawn to Northern Arkansas/Southern Missouri in a way that i can't describe & have been praying that if it is the Father's will, that the route will be pointed for us. I'm excited to see what the future holds for you & your family!

I know the feeling. I moved back home to Louisiana and never lived more than 8 miles from my Mom and stepdad because they were getting older. I always said after they passed I am leaving the area. My stepdad passed in 2018 and my Mom the beginning of 2020. I have this big desire to move but just don’t know where that place will be right now. I feel the need to move..I feel unsettled. I know it won’t be to the mountains as I do not like cold or snow. I always say I can’t move north of I-20 because it gets too cold haha. I always enjoyed moving as a young adult..when I didn’t have so much to move. But then my daughter and granddaughter live here and they need me. So maybe I just need to make my home a more pleasant place for me to settle as I am 65 years old. Maybe I need to work on me being more content and less restless. I have a decent home with 2 acres which is more than I ever thought I would have as a single Mom. It’s all paid for..as well as my car and truck paid for.. I need flowers and a garden to make it more a home. I have chickens but would like a nice coop. Maybe I can settle my restlessness by working outside. Thank you for this video and for listening to my rambling. God Bless.

Wow…I can’t imagine living like you have. I joke, I’m in my mid 60’s and I’ve had 6 moves ~ the first one ~ out of the womb ~ was the easiest, as I came “naked”, with nothing packed. Lol One of my moves was to the USA, from Canada, for a new life, with a new husband. Home is where he is, and I love being there, seldom leaving it, not because I can’t; but because I’d rather be there, with him, than anywhere else.

What a brave, unselfish decision, to follow God's direction. Married 55 years, my wife and I have lived in this, our 2nd home, for 52 years and, though it is far from perfect, have no wish to move anywhere. At our age, it would likely be an old folk's home. I am a prepper, a stacker and veg grower, on a very small scale. Liked and subbed, to keep track of your continued journey in life. Good luck and God Bless from the UK.

I hope iyou heal after your husband's death. Prayers for your children's healing as I know a professing Christian would never get a divorce. We must know we become one on marriage to our spouses. It happens sometimes but I pray for true forgiveness if this be so. It destroys children. I know even before I accepted Christ I was divorced. They truly never healed. Now I'm old. My children cannot commit for fear they'll have their children taken away from them. Jesus hates divorce.

@@patriciastordahl1220 oh wow, unless you KNOW someone, refrain from coming at that person. Jesus hates DIVORCE, yes, but there ARE circumstances that arise. The ground is LEVEL at the foot of the cross, and there is FORGIVENESS and restoration. So many are WOUNDED by those that have NO business saying anything about another's journey yet dare to go spouting off. Be about YOUR business and tend the journey that is yours, and BLESS others despite their shortcomings. LOVE THEM no matter what, and do not ADD your two cents. NEVER be an accuser of the brethren, just help them to wholeness by support, by suffering with them, by providing for them. Jesus has the power to RESTORE anything, even those from broken homes. I feel the same way about a particular spot in Michigan, almost every house I've looked at and saved on Zillow is literally within 30 minutes of each other. Since I'm nowhere near financially ready to move yet I've just been looking for "dream homes" with acreage, old trees, and some kind of water feature. And yet every home I'm drawn to is in this one spot. Praying a way to get there will open up for me soon!

That was the most joyful & peaceful video to watch while having my first cup of coffee. I usually start my day with a sermon video & Bible study but for some reason I chose yours instead. Now I know why! We too are being called by the Lord to uproot and move. We're being obedient but it so hard physically on us because we're in our 70's & both of us have major back problems, I need a quadruple bypass, we care for our adult disabled daughter, who lives with us & we have little family to help us. The Lord's timing is perfect so we'll just keep on packing as we're able. So, we'll get there when we're supposed to if we just trust him. We thought this was our last home & have been here 23 years & thought it was our retirement Homestead. The joy of the Lord is our strength so he alone will give us the strength as we are obedient. My prayers are with you on your great adventure. Love from East Texas. ♥

My new place definitely wasn't a place my children or I wanted to go, but we obediently followed. What a beautiful place to which you are moving! There's something about the mountains, for some it just calls you. I've always felt that in the mountains and especially when my feet touched the soil of Scotland. It's a strange sense of belonging that literally pulls on you. Such a lovely story and as always from you to me - a timely message. I have no doubt God uses you as a filter to my heart, he's done it time and time again. Happy tears for what God has given and where he has led you! So amazing. 💓

Oh my! When you told the place I instantly knew it was God. Bc the teacher I follow and do Bible studies with is in Gravette, Arkansas. The Lord told him to move there. The Lord told him to buy this property and it had a skating center on it. And he had asked the Lord what he was going to do with that. And the Lord told him to build a church. And he did!!! Arnold was also obedient to the Lord. He was the best teacher and now his son has taken over. He teaches truth and when the truth is told, it’s beautiful!! I believe God is moving his people and getting them ready. I don’t know if this is where you are originally from but I just moved my parents back here to Florence, Al about 6 months ago. They lived in Nebraska for 17 years. I believe it is God. And we give Him all the praise, honor and glory. May the Lord bless you and your family on this journey. May He strengthen you and may you be a blessing to all you come in contact with. Blessings to you and your family.

This is truly one, if not the, very best video I have ever watched on YT. You have such a soothing voice, which made the video come completely together. You are such an inspiration. I cannot wait to watch more of your life unfold. You did what so many people long to do, but get in a hurry and end up doing what they want instead of what God has or had in store for you. YOU WAITED AND PRAYED AND TURNED EVERYTHING OVER TO HIM. I can only imagine how many people that viewed this video, could actually relate to it. So, this is just another thing u have done that God wanted you do. INSPIRE ALL OF US THAT WATCHED IT. Because you are a true Christian woman and one that we needed to hear from. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I learned a great deal from you this morning and cannot wait to to watch more. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

My Grandfather owned a large chunk of land in Arkansas according to the old records. I was told that Clinton imposed eminent domain and took it according to what my uncle was told by family still living there. They lived close to and worked at some point in the mining town of Rush. After my Grandfather died my Grandmother had a driver take her and the kids to Central California because there were farm labor jobs available. I have been wanting to get out of CA for years and move back to Arkansas or Tennessee where my late Grandmothers family is from. I subscribed to watch your new journey unfold.

I have a few chickens left and have been sitting here waiting for God to give us back our homestead. He knows our heart too. We are sitting up in the Branson area fully packed and ready to go when He provides. From those pics, I dont think you are far. Prayers for you and your family on your wonderful journey home! Wow. I have to say that I never thought you'd leave your homestead in Alabama. I was tearing up throughout this whole video. I've always commented to my hubs how much work you've put into that place and your videos; how perfectly and beautifully you set the stage with scenes of calm. You've always had The Most High first and foremost without any words because of Hiis Hands in Glory of His Creation. This I knew before you even shared your spiritual life. The Most High has blessed you beyond words. I'm now excited about this new adventure for you and pray that you'll be able to take us along on this journey from start to finish because I feel so close to you ; you're one of those friends that I've never met yet. All will go as planned by The Father as long as you continue to keep Him first and take the time to breathe so you can listen to His voice. Many blessings Constance and Ken! I cried with this video. Three years ago we had to leave our beloved Cody, WY. I was heartbroken, angry (at God), and in complete disbelief. A year later, while I was headed back for a visit and going through a mountain pass, I asked God why. He answered: Because you love the mountains more than Me. I don't remember how I got down from the mountain cause I was having a heated talk with Him. At church that Sunday, the Pastor asked, "What do you have between you and God". I bowed my head and wept. I finally surrendered Cody to Him. Fast forward, God gave us a miracle. A beautiful homestead back in Cody. We can't move back yet, we are waiting for His timing. People, He knows that desires of your heart.

A great story! The homestead sounds perfect! I visited Yellowstone in 2021, fell in love and drove through many cities in WY and Cody really stood out to me. Do you have recommendations on where to live in Cody or anything you can share? I don't know what I'd do for work or what type of housing (rent, rent a room, etc.), but I'd just be going on blind faith if I do. I remember in the town I stopped and had breakfast at, if I remember right, Granny's and sat at the breakfast bar and chatted with the local men...special, special memories.

That's how I felt when I left my home state for my husband's home state. I still miss the west, the mountains, and blue sky. God had to rip me away to teach me humility, contentment, and that He is enough. I'm still learning these things because I still miss my hometown but now I am aware of my secret idol and ask Him to help me be content in Him and where he has me. God has blessed us in the Midwest, so I'm thankful just to have a decent place for my family to live provided by His gracious hands. God bless all you sisters in the Lord on your journey. He is faithful and kind what more can we ask for.

This is the first time I have been to your channel. WOW! You brought so much peace into my life. IN August I left Maine and moved to Florida. I had never ever bought raw land but I did just that (with help of 28 yr old son and DIL. )He had come here three years ago and asked me to come down so I could be close to grandchildren if or when they arrive. Presently I have been crying the blues because I am in a camper without many amenities as I wait for my house to be ready. But I am so blessed! We have 2.5 acres in the country with wooded paths and my son is planning on lots of gardens, and raised beds, since I am 65 and struggle to garden on the ground. I have subscribed and will be following your channel. Thank you for reminding me that God guides us where we need to be.
