I am neither an experienced veterinarian looking for a new clinic to call home nor a new grad looking for the best possible start to my career. What I do have, however, are a very particular set of skills developed over a long career working for the government. If you surrender the cat now, that will be the end of it. I will not look for you. I will not hunt you. That joke aside, I came for Lancelot pets. :)

I work as a vet at a zoo so if the zoo goes belly up (do to covid) i might look in to it. I do have to say I prefer the even more crazy stuff you see at a zoo clinic. From treating a elephant with a toe infection. (we needed a paint brush to get the ointment on). and the next day work on the died of a bever.
@HelpfulVancouverVet4 жыл бұрын
Well I sincerely hope you have no cause to apply to work with me, zoo vet is everyone’s dream job, isn’t it? I’d love to work more with exotics but I had too many student loans on graduation to go to Africa and work for free and the closest zoo is much too far for me to even consider collaborating with them.

@@HelpfulVancouverVet I had luck that here in the Netherlands there was a trust fund that paid a large part of the studies. It was fun to teach a bear to play fetch in a swimming pool.n (artritis) they really are just dogs if they are used to humans. even if for the bigger part there day to day handlers will do that more.
