Woman in white on a road has a multitude of legends. Sometimes it's a woman who was killed by her cheating husband and hidden on the side of the road, sometimes it's a woman who died horribly after a car crash or getting the wrong person to stop and help, but that's in relation to the highway spirits. Banshee is usually it's own creature, sometimes it's a spirit of a woman, but often it's a harbinger of death in the shape of a woman. They don't normally kill people so much as their presence means someone is going to die. Usually means something that can't be avoided, but sometimes a banshee can call and with a miracle medicine may save someone or a family may flee before a natural disaster destroys their home. There's also the tales of a woman in white, more akin to La Llarona (I think I spelled it right), who suffered something terrible and either killed her own children or had them taken from her and then she died. Her spirit approaches families with young children so that she can take "her" kids back.

Yeah, the episode of supernatural he was referencing was more akin to La Llorana, she was cheated on and drowned her kids in a bathtub and then felt she couldn't go home because she couldn't face the spirits of her children. In the episode she lured men who were unfaithful to their partners to kill them, usually making them unfaithful by seducing them. Her morals got real twisted.

Parts of this game make me think of the game you played where you have to move through the woods and if you scream (or make any noise at all, really) the game ends. Your screams remind me of your reactions in that game as well. The only supernatural hunting game I've ever played is the Hunting Bigfoot (or whatever it's called now) that you and the others have played. Have you played Witch Hunt? If you haven't and you do, please yell "I'm motherf***ing SkillyMcFilly!!!" at least three times. I can think of two Long John's Silvers locations still here in Albuquerque. One is across town from me, another is about fifteen minutes away. I love the chicken planks, but the fish planks are good too. I don't care for fish if it's not fried lol. "Crumblies" for sale at the Long John's you know? That sounds amazing. I like the crumbs. I too appreciate the reloading animations in the wendigo game. Looking up games on IMFD, you'd be surprised how many games have incorrect (sometimes hilariously so) reloading animations.

Don’t Scream is the name of that game you’re referencing. It’s an interesting take on the mic using games genre. I haven’t played Witch Hunt but it’s high on my backlog list to checkout at some point. I still have nightmares randomly about working at LJS lol.

As a partially deaf guy if those random screams hurt and shock me, I'm sure it's doubly more so for everyone with good and proper hearing. Also thanks Skilly, even though I'm losing more hearing and packing up to move out next month, and having my GPU constantly crash games on me...I can at least still watch some KZbin and chillax with one of my favourites.
