We loved Galle Face One, almost as much as Cheers pub. After being away from Home for 5 months it was amazing to find an English pub with an English menu to watch world Cup opening ceremony. They are proud of It, and it's actually taught by parents for generations. I was born in Sri Lanka and lived there for a while. Typically, Sri Lankans find it disgraceful to not properly welcome a guest. No matter how tough the times are, they will always prioritize a guest. Of course, nothing is perfect, there are few scammers, but overall, they are genuine people.
