Congratulations! This was truly meant to be and you guys deserve it! We had a similar situation when we were purchasing our first home a year ago - we had put in multiple offers, kept losing out, and we had just given up hope. The day before a trip, we saw our house come on the market and since we made last minute plans to go see the house, we couldn’t find anyone to watch our newly adopted puppy, so we carried her through the house with us. Apparently the owners had a camera and saw us with our puppy and chose our offer over a slighter higher one because they wanted their house to go to dog lovers such as us. Now, we understand why none of the other houses worked out. This was the one.

We have a dream of owning our 1st home. Yes! we are late on everything, but we KNOW God is always right on time. I have watched your video and your story on how you came across this house, and I also watched Kim (The Wads) and how she happened to come upon a house, she wasn't even planning on looking at. She was on the way back from another showing, skipped over a couple of other open houses, and had that "feeling" to stop at the one, and IT WAS THE ONE. When I started watching this video I felt myself getting feelings of lack, and even sadness because we are in a tough situation right now with our own home and wanting to move. Your family and mine share very similar dreams of raising our children on land! I had to pause your video and pray, asking God to change my heart. We have said “this is our forever home” on 3 different homes but this current home in The Villages Florida is truly my forever home. How interesting. My mom passed away a month ago. So we are moving out of our rental and in with my Dad. I am also excited about having a office space to share and my little girl being able to play outside in the beautiful fenced in backyard. Our last day in our rental is November 1st and my two year daughter is confused why things are disappearing here too. I keep telling her it’s going to Papa’s house but of course not totally computing. God is good and even in the midst of grief and packing and keeping up with my business I am thankful for God working things out. Excited to see your new home and totally get the craziness with packing and moving. God bless!

😭😭😭 We are in our waiting season right now!! What an amazing story. God is so GOOD!! We sold our home just over a year ago and have been patiently waiting for God to bring us our "perfect" home. We have very similar search parameters and we have searched on and off for the past year, but we just felt like God wanted us to wait. The same thing happened to me in August 2018. I was visiting my parents in NC from Maine. We had bought our Dream home 3 years prior. This home had checked all our boxes plus. Anyways while visiting my parents her abutting neighbors where moving out of there home. We popped over as my parents knew them well. From the moment I walked in, I knew this was my forever home.1000sq ft. Smaller, no garage, total fixer upper. I went home to Maine told my husband we were moving. There was probably 3 or 4 "God did this" moments, over over next handful of weeks.... we were living here in NC in our new home by Christmas 2018. We sold that dream house in 4 days with 10k over asking. Still the best decision I ever made. ❤ congrats!

Congratulations!! I strongly believe that what you ask for in prayer God will answer in His own unique way. I moved just over a year ago and I wasn’t even looking at buying a home. Home prices in my area are so high, I did not ever think I could purchase a home in this area. I knew what I always wanted in a home but God knew what I needed and in the end, this home is exactly what I wanted. I was able to not only buy before the sales boom and increased prices started, but I got my home at $20,000 less than the value. When going through the buying process, every time I ran up against a road block, I prayed and gave it over to God and usually within 1 hour, the issue was resolved! I will always consider my home as a gift from God!

So cute to hear your daughter’s answer. I’ve moved plenty with small children. And I remember our first big move with my then 2 young children. My daughter keep asking if her dollies were coming. And of course we reassured and explained. Then the day of the move came and she was devastated that the door to her bedroom wasn’t being packed. Lol It’s so hard for littles to grasp what is coming, what is staying, what will be at the new house, etc. Fast forward 12 years and we’re moving again this time with 2 more children in tow and my youngest asked if we were packing his pillow. Congrats!! We closed on our forever home August 6th. Almost 15 acres with a barn, several other out buildings, three large fenced fields, and more. It was the first place we looked at and the only one we offered on. We now have 18 chicks and 3 cows! life goes warp speed once it gets going, doesn’t it!? I’m so so happy for y’all! Your house search was inspiring for me when 8 months later my hubby & I made the sudden decision to settle back down from full time RV lifestyle on the road. We arrived in western Kentucky in June & within 3 days we both felt the need to look for our final (earthly) home. Within 3 weeks of the decision, we had our fixer upper place!
