I have heard of her music and of her but after watching Miss Eilish interview, I understand why she is so popular. She's so right about expectations. I grew up in a family that always had half a dozen musical instruments around, and lessons were provided if we expressed an interest in one, even though there wasn't much money. Even when my mum was in hospice with cancer, family was there playing or singing music she loved. It wasn't until high school that I realized that his wonderful situation wasn't as common as I had assumed. It saddens me that so many music programs have been cut in schools, because it's a language that can bring us together to express ourselves and find understanding and connection (not to mention improving math skills).
