i really hope the set comes with a buildable stand for the console, i think for the screen they could include a few (hopefully printed) 6x6 tiles that have screenshots of various games like super mario land, tetris, and link’s awakening but it would also include a tile without a design if you just wanted to display it as a generic game boy

I really want to see what Lego could do with Pokémon in particular, out of all of Nintendo's IPs, because all the bootleg Lego versions of Pokémon have looked like shit so far. Like...I'm hoping they turn it into a reverse Lego Mario situation. :p

There are so many Pokemon to choose from, and I honestly don't see how they could pull it off at a minifigure scale, due to many popular and cute pokemon being fairly small. Large display models would be fine, but I don't think I would buy a large model of some unspecific and very popular pokemon like Pikachu or Charizard. They wouldn't be able to cater to everybody's needs of course, but I think they would be locked into one or two large display models, perhaps one that contain pokemon related things such as the pokéball itself, badges, etc.

I had a hunch Lego would give us somethin Ike this! I could see them include scenes from Super Mario Land, Link’s Awakening, Metroid II, or perhaps Kirby’s Dream Land. Including Pokémon might not be likely currently since a different toy company has made brick built Pokémon. I for one could see a Lego Sega Genesis set made in the future. Just like the Lego Atari set, there could be brick built scenes of Sega games like Altered Beast, Golden Axe, Alex Kidd, and Streets of Rage. Don’t know about ToeJam and Earl cause that belongs to Greg Johnson, not Sega.
