Your bedroom and bathroom spaces are lovely. Before Covid I used to host a lot of guests. One thing I have learned is that everyone hates something or is allergic to something. Example: Dairy, gluten or eggs. Have some options handy for those people. Some hate veggies and some hate fruit. Take nothing personal, it is people being people.

Thanks Mary! It was only there temporarily as a decoration. Once the chimney has been swept the real fireplace can be lit and the small decoration fire pit will be moved back into storage. 😂😁

If you iron the linens on a mattress it's much quicker because you aren't moving them around all the time. Use the iron an extension cord so you can reach the whole surface. Make sure the mattress is heat safe. 😉😉

I like how you keep the bloopers in. Hillarious! I am in love with your cat and dog. I had a cat that use to do the same. The cat we have now wants to be close but don't like being held. The rooms are beautiful and I love the tiles in the shower. I have to say, I am a bit jealous over your scoring all of that georgeous furniture. It really looks like it always belonged there. Just found your channel! Awesome! If you don’t mind my suggestions, Your mirror in the salon needs to be standing up on the narrator end, and hat way it won’t hang over the edge of the fire place. Also, your seating set up should be the sofas facing each other in front of the fire place and the single chair should be by itself for like a reading area. I hope that helps, great job! it is looking lovely! I am curious why you only tile 2 walls. Aren’t you worried the water from the shower will damage the wall opposite the shower head? The water won’t reach the far wall and the walls are all coated with a specialist bathroom paint so shouldn’t get mouldy. Glad you’re enjoying the videos!

There is a door on the Ravel and Bedroom 1 bathroom. We didn't think we needed one in Lutece.

Get rid of that old gramophone. My postal address is………………… !!!!!! I think the needle needs to be replaced and the sound box needs a service. I’ve not seen a HMV gramophone like that with the tone arm on the left. (Depending on the angle of the needle to the record) it probably should be placed on the right hand side. (Can I see a close up of the needle angle ? )

Guys be a bit careful not to fill the chateau up with too many reproduction antiques. I see on the other chateau vlogs peeps picking up real antiques cheaply. On the other hand painting reproduction furniture is no crime and might give you a more authentic look.

Thanks Mathew! Quite a lot of the furniture we picked up from the neighbour was actually made by a local carpenter too! So it gives us a talking point when showing the furniture to guests. Appreciate the heads up though!
