Colt as I said in the original video, I appreciate the style and content of the videos you and your wife are putting together. I think you have a great balance of sharing your builds and your adventures. As stated in the best movie to feature a pacer, party on and we'll enjoy your adventures together. I especially appreciate the Bible verses at the end of the videos as the walk with the Lord is always on the right path!

Hate that you had to drop out. I missed a ton of things last year when I injured my back (including the build challenge) and it was the worst. A 2-wheel drive vehicle would definitely have struggled, but I would have gladly given you a tug with the ol’ kinetic rope where necessary. Glad you’ll still be out there in Arizona with the crew. 😀🤘🏻

I enjoy seeing things like wrecker builds spread among the 4x4 build community but actually getting some unique original ideas that produce possibly the next trend is just as fun to see. I'm excited to see what you come up with and the variety new/different ideas will bring to the channel. Don't let outside pressure ever push you into cookie cutter builds you're not into.

Finally!!! Onx build challenges are cool and all but I don’t really care. I’d so much rather watch budget rusty truck build. 99% of people watching aren’t going to build pacers or mini coopers on 37’s. What I think most people who are watching your channel and similar channels are more interested in is getting inspiration for the things we actually have the skill and pocket to build ourselves.

Realising the pressure you were putting yourself under was a smart move mate, doing what makes you and your family happy is most important. My favorite entry has to be the so over the top Bread Van. The King Cooper is a very close second but I just don’t see it as an adventure vehicle. Of course the way things went last year Ian will probably set up a challenge that the Bread Van will physically not fit and it will lose.

Go old school. Intercooled 2.3 Lima turbo and use the Canfield adapter to mate it to a small block Ford drivetrain. For desert racing, the AWD transfer case from an Explorer is perfect. In fact, for bombing across the desert, the TTB from a half ton in the front would be neat...

In Australia, the LandRover Discovery (disco) is well recognised as being extremely capable with the right modification/upgrades and it came with an ally 3.5 V8 or diesel option. When modified, those V8's can produce big horsepower and don't weigh much. If you aren't happy building something, then don't keep going, I can respect that choice.
