I just wanted to say, I am politically neutral in regards to american politics, but I wanted to be factual. I think you mentioned that Donald Trump had incarcerated enemies in the past, and I was curious about these instances, so I asked Copilot about this. This is the result: "There is no evidence that Donald J. Trump has directly incarcerated his political opponents. While he has made numerous threats to investigate, prosecute, and punish his perceived enemies, there are no verified instances of him successfully imprisoning them. His threats and rhetoric have often been a point of contention and concern, but actual legal actions resulting in imprisonment have not been documented]". I tried google and duckduckgo and couldn't find anything. Other than that, keep up the good work!

I just can't wrap my head around the idea of giving somebody money for a Bitcoin that has no actual value. How can you label something as an asset or a security or a currency that has no measurable value? The dollar has value as a currency because of the ability to tax the population to back up the currency. What does Bitcoin have? Cryptocurrency has to be the best example of the greater fool theory of investing

Excellent commentary as always. Both Josh and Michael are so knowledgeable. The one thing I find both disconcerting, and perhaps a bit reprehensible, is the casual was Josh talks about corruption in the Trump administration ($DJT stock, companies buying ads to curry favor). This is corrupt and wrong. Talking about this in a cavalier fashion doesn't make you cool and in the know, it makes you cynical. A second disturbing aspect of the conversation is the casual manner with which Michael brushed off tariffs. Tariffs are the opposite of free trade and immensely inflationary. Oh well.

Saying bitcoin "won" because they are still around and increased in value over "time" is a poor argument. 100s of years is time, not a few decades. How many world wars has bitcoin survived? How many A coup d'état? Etc. Your viewpoint is WAY too short. The ONLY reason to hold a NON-PRODUCING asset is for retention of purchasing power during troubling times. We have NOT had troubling times...not on a scale of 100s of years. Look at spanish flu, look at WWII, look at The fall of the UK empire. If you care about holding value then tail risk is what you care about.
