It's only a dream. It was done about a year after Mylène's mom passed, and 20 years after the death of a sibling.

Composed by a Belgian (Jacques Brel) and sung by a pair of Quebecers (Luce Dufault and Dan Bigras), The Song of the Old Lovers just gets deeper and deeper 'til the end. Search "La chanson des vieux amants (feat. Luce Dufault)" and listen for yourself, Canadian Friends, perhaps with a translation of the lyrics in hand (Laurika Rauch's) as understanding clearly is the point here. Enjoy! 🙂
