Today we dive into Welsh musician & singer Ren Erin Gill. "Bittersweet Symphony" is a song released in 2023. Ren is an independent artist who went viral on KZbin in 2022.

Funny Story - I chose this one because in preparation I found out Ty had NEVER heard The Verve before! So to him it’s not a sample … its just interesting instrumental work, ha. So just had to start here. Kinda like if ‘Jump’ were the only Van Halen song you had ever heard. Oh Wait, that’s also true 😎 so crazy

Ren is a genius he does many diffrent genres inca way he defies them he raps raps in illest of our times, losing it, hunger He can really sing many of hes songs

REN is an incredible writer/artist/performer one of the most creative artists around today, I'm not sure this was right track to start with - for his rapping skills checkout 'Losing It' & 'The Hunger' and a play on the Beastie Boys check out 'What you want'.... for his amazing live performances checkout 'Chalk Outlines' where his voice shines... and the busking (street performance) he does in Brighton "I Shot the Sheriff/ Road to Zion/Hip Hop' cover.... Also checkout 'Hi Ren' for a better understanding of his background. 👍

You can't get Ren from one song. Believe me. 'Hi Ren'. Would be a much better intro. He can rap with the best. But frankly Ren is beyond rap, he's on a different plane of existence in my opinion.

Yay! This is my least favorite, but I’m glad you did it. He can go hard with rapping (The Hunger) I prefer Sick Boi. He’s independent and does all of his writing, beats, production, etc. in his little flat. He can also sing! And play many instruments. Very talented.

Hi Ren was the one I mentioned before, but you might enjoy Genesis in the Rap as well, to see an awesome production. I also think this is one of the two weakest pieces in a huge catalogue. Ocean might also be fun, and How to be me with Chinchilla.

I stand by my comments on this particular song I didn't like it.......but oh my god, I was so wrong about ren. You simply must check out his song called suicide. It's mind-blowing it's a true masterpiece
