It's also kinda implied that Empress Titania rebelled against her captivity towards the end of the war, so Glamoth was on a downwards spiral from multiple angles.

So I love Rondo Across Countless Kalpas as much as the next person however I can't agree with many that Acheron & Black Swan are a ship or are "gay for each other". There are two reasons for this. 1. Black Swan only met Acheron to gather information about the Annihilation Gang as it is her job. This is the first time Acheron is even meeting her. 2. The dance they shared was 'The Tango' a dance that by it's very nature requires intimate gestures irrespective of the relationship of the dancers. Yes, Acheron enjoyed it dearly, I would too if my life was being eaten away by Nihility. Yes, they had a second dance. They had the equivalent of a one night stand but also ended up working with each other during the Penacony story. Why not have another? Acheron is a complete enigma to Black Swan after all.

Okay buddy if you think there is absolutely nothing going on there that's just willful blindness. 1. Black Swan could have chosen any other way of getting that information. Why did she choose to do it that way?? 2. She CHOSE to do a tango. One of the most suggestive dances. Why would she do that if she wasn't at least being flirty? If this is a completely straight thing to do would you do this with one of your friends? It's not because she's a woman either. I'm a woman and this is not something friends do lol. I don't care if you don't like the ship or whatever but saying that there was nothing gay going on in this trailer is insane. Black Swan may have lost interest after, but she was definitely interested at first.

@@breadds863 Acheron and Black Swan's interaction wasn't nothing by any means, that's very apparent. I commented mainly as a response (and admittedly with some frustration) for the very vocal minority that this one short isn't an immediate reason for Acheron and Black Swan being in some relationship. I discussed the trailer with my sister (is in a gay relationship, isn't always online) around the time of its release and she concluded that "the dance did a lot of heavy lifting". I after some reflection agreed with her point. Yes, they danced the tango but wouldn't that have been planned out beforehand by the venue with music? Wouldn't a dance also be a great way to get close to someone, keep them occupied for the time needed and have everyone else none-the-wiser? Acheron could have declined (trailer wouldn't exist in this state) or left the dance, but that may have drawn a scene, which she really doesn't want. Okay, honestly knowing that they go on a second dance shouldn't have been in my argument and is more a reason I should agree with you. I was hoping to have a more grounded perspective than some yuri shippers but there is a lot of merit to what they say an the reply you made. The more I write I feel like I really take way to much stock in other people's opinions, especially family.
