Great video as always lads. ❤ Feel the points for finishing higher should be more than beating each other. I say this because the first season and overall, Omega Dad did better but ended with lower points. Definitely had the better rebuild. Also, the assistant managers have a huge impact because Luke starts most series on this channel really well but then goes on holiday and his team performance drops a fair bit. Keep up the good work ❤

I started a Schalke save at the start of the year. Before I was pretty indifferent to Schalke but now it's my favourite German club and easily one of my top 5 favourite clubs. The proudest moment I've ever had in FM was winning 5-0 in the Signal Iduna Park against rivals Dortmund. The second proudest moment I've ever had in FM was winning the DFB Polkal from the second division of Germany beating Stuttgart and Leverkusen along the way in my first season with Schalke. I've been playing it on and off for the entire game cycle and am currently in like 2031 or 2032. I haven't won anything except two DFB Polkals but I game second in the Bundesliga twice and came runners up in the Champions League. I'm currently on course to win the Europa League and come second in the Bundesliga again but the fight for 2nd is so close half way through the season so far. Bayern are also only like 6 points ahead in 1st. Schalke is also the first time I've ever used youth academy players in my first team regularly because before either my team was too good or my youth academy was too bad. The first was a defender who is now my vice captain and probably my second best player at the age of 21, the second was a midfielder and winger who is now probably my third best player at the age of 22. My best player is a 21 year old Italian winger who I bought from Bologna for 5.5 million and is now worth over 100 million 3 seasons later. Definitely my best signing ever. He had a 34 G/A season in the Premier League at the age of 18 on loan to Brentford.

You should change the point for victory against each other to 0,5. So if you finish above you at least get the same amount of points as the one that won both games

If I were dad, I would've sold all players I'd never use in the first season, despite not receiving anything in my transfer budget. At least the player would be of my books and it would clear wage budget to get free signings or loan players I would otherwise not be able to pay

I get the whole not getting it if someone gets relegated but if you both start the game in the same divison what difference does it make, best team/tatics win and all that... PAOK VS ARIS. Thessaloniki's derby PAOK the easy way, current champions of 2023-2024 with a winning last game decider in aris stadium, biggest club in the city and the whole northern Greece, never went on champions league group stage, only in qualifiers. Financially great with rich president. Great academies for Greece Aris, the very hard way, 5th this season and lost the cup final in the 96' minute, havent won a league for 90 years and a cup for 54 years. Financially kinda risky, not so much money from their president, in some saves in the 3rd or 4th year they are getting relegated. Bad academies. This should be a challenge

Hmmm... To balance out the rebuilds, maybe you could add a single point for European qualification. It will cancel out if both do so, but the differentiator of finishing above the other will already be there to separate it. That way the h2h does matter, but the rebuild portion of it still counts. Just a suggestion tho, if ya think it don't work, it's all good

I started own guys save with Man Utd. Trusting only youth intakes and former utd juniors. After one season I already regret as there is not their own guys who really can play big part in Premier League. So I am so gonna get sacked. Now when I see Schalke I think that might be better option for that kind of save. Maybe I try it when I get sacked.

If goal is best rebuild imo finishing higher and winning a league (even if lower league) should score higher than a 1 off game against each other. First 2 seasons win 2nd league and European football and same points. Doesn't really make sense

I think you need to give out more points for finishing higher than beating each other, that's the main achievement I reckon in these battles. Schalke was probably the better rebuild (Bar the loss of Quedraogo as that was tragic to loss a quality player), the points system doesn't show it (posted this before the end haha). Either way, love the rebuild battles and looking forward to the next one. Sunderland vs Newcastle maybe?
