Love your video. I'm 19 thinking about moving over to the motorhome life, just waying out my options. Thank you for this video it is very informing.😊🚐🚐

The basic idea of the video is that this thing is pretty easy to drive even if you have no motor home experience and it’s a little cramped for three people.

Do you need to get snow chains for this? We are planning on going out this new year's and I have no idea 🤣. We are going into an area where may be snow

Where is part 2?

Unfortunately we ran into some busy times right after this trip and had to return the RV before we could film a second part. Currently, we are working on a truck-topper camper build in our F-250. We will have videos coming out soon about the build process.

Hello, I’m looking at small class C’s that is easy to park and easy to drive. However I am 6’4 and 300 Lbs will I be able to even fit behind the steering wheel without it be wedged against my Stomach?

I found it easy to drive (my first time driving an RV) but it was definitely scary when you don’t know the height of an object you intend to pas under. I didn’t notice if the seat adjusted but for me (at 5’ 10”) the steering wheel felt kinda far away. I hope it can work for you and it seems like CA is doing a lot of discounts right now due to COVID.

Stories Over Stuff, Thank You for your video and your response. I have put a deposit down on a 19G the same model that you drove and I’m waiting on it to be delivered in September, but it’s stressing me out if I’ll be able to even fit in the drivers seat and not feel like a Sardine in a Sardine can Lol...

Just finished test driving it today...there was plenty of room not only for me fitting comfortably in the drivers seat but in the Bathroom as well...Cheers!

The bathroom had good space. I wasn’t a huge fan of the step into the bathroom but it was workable. Congrats and safe travels!

Hi, great video. I’m thinking about buying a refurbished 2016 model year cruise America 19g with over 120,000 miles on it. Do you have any recommendations from your experience with this small rv. Am I crazy to buy one with this many miles on it , a retired rental unit? Thanks. Stay safe.

sccphilly Hi, thanks for watching. The thing about used CA RVs is that they’ve had their maintenance done by the company where it may not have been done in a FSBO unit. But... it’s a lot of miles either way. I’d recommend having a trusted mechanic inspect it if that’s possible for you. The smaller models are also in high demand so if you have the opportunity to buy one, you might be able to sell it later with less hassle.

Did you get comfortable driving this RV? Thanks

It was really scary at first. Pulling away from the rental lot was nerve racking. You can probably see it on my face haha. Once you drive it for a while it feels about the same as a large truck. One thing I wish I would have done was used window paint to write the height and width on the windshield so I could reference while driving. We ended up not needing it although we did pass VERY slowly under a sketchy tree on my friend’s road.

In 8 weeks I will rent my first C19, too. I will pick up mine in Compton😅 I'm not sure yet what is more dangerous. Getting to cruise america or me driving first time RV🙈

Nice video. However the generator runs on gas. If you get to 1/4 tank or less it won't run.

I wasn’t sure what type of fuel it used. I assumed propane. It wasn’t super loud but you can definitely hear it inside.
