I concur!! Ask Aiden if he wants to help!! It would be cool!! Maybe you’d spark an interest in him that he turns into a career. But he sure seemed overwhelmed on the other video. You’ll just have to see if he’s up for it. I think it would be good for him as it would help to change his reference point.

If the truck slipped of the lift, or something crushed his arm, don't think their workers comp insurance won't drop them when the mom goes to sue their shop. Honestly Matt always takes a big risk, and IDK if Paul even has liability(he must by now) insurance. At either of the 2 shops I worked at in the last 30 year, we had chains up, customers weren't even allowed near the vehicles area unless escorted(when we need to show them something that was broken)

Hi Robby, great content, loving what you're doing with Aiden's dad's truck. That train horn is something I've hankered after since about 1976: On holiday in the South Of France with my family on a sleepy morning by the village harbour, I saw a big German tourbus was jammed in behind this guy in his pickup. The tourbus driver gently tooted his horn a couple of times, to let this other guy know that he was blocking him in. Nothing happened. Then the tourbus let rip with his trainhorn like that HornBlaster you just featured. Birds from everywhere around, startled, took to the air, as the sound reverberated off cliffs buildings, everything. That guy in his truck took off like a scalded cat. I was 16 at the time, I'm 62 now. That sound and vision remain with me as fresh as if it happened yesterday. I reckon Aiden and his pals are going to have huge fun with that HornBlaster. I'm wondering if they are seaproof, for mounting on a 30ft sailboat, available in Scotland, UK? One other thing: when are you going to get you and the lads workshirts, logo'd up and monogrammed, like Ben Cox's at FabRats, and Matt's signature shirt at MORR? Imo the camera is just crying out for it to be done, create the demand by the guys wearing your merch.

Keeping the V6?!?!?!! Nooooo! Why??? It's going to be under powered after the new wheels and lift. I get wanting to keep as much of the original as possible but at the expense of performance?

Lower gearing will fix that. Some of the most legendarily capable 4WD vehicles (Unimogs, Land Rover series, Jeep CJ) had relatively low hp ratings and the gearing to get the job done.

It would be awesome to box the frame, giving this young man a frame that will be there forever and able to handle anything he throws at it.

I agree with the rebuild his dad's old 4.3 motor. They are good engines and it will mean so much more to him to know it's the engine his dad worked on. And I think you might offer to let Aiden help with the rebuild after you get the bent parts removed and/or straightened. This way he can take pride in learning a skill his Daddy had, and do things his Dad would have loved to do to it. Good to see all the other Companies donating to the project. Good advertising for them, but even better it shows they care about others. Dang that compressor is big, and loud when it's running. Good Tooters are always fun!

It’s interesting to see the proses of squaring a frame and straightening on the rack. Having the right tools makes the job much easier. Y’all are doing great work and a wonderful gift for that young man👍🇺🇸
