Used to go to school on ancient busses back in the 80's.... there were no mot's here then and if it moved it was driven. These busses were old yokes with the engine under a cover beside the driver.... i loved it😂👍🇮🇪

RIP Ken’s cousin. I know exactly what you mean regarding the bus ride Alan. The bus ride, like the country, has a kind of Wild West, raw, appeal. Hard to put your finger on or describe, but there’s something alluring about the less sanitised, less bubble wrapped lifestyle. Great upload as usual - thanks.

Very interesting to see. Those bus fares are a bargain but I reckon Arriva would not like you pushing up their windows!

Sorry to hear the sad news about the accident. RIP Interesting to see the bus journey. I actually caught the bus here for the first time in years today. Car's off the road as clutch pedal broke.

Sad times for the family, I wonder how the store holders make a living when they all sell the same thing.

You've been away from England too long!!!! Those roads look great compared to all the potholes here. 👍 That bus wouldn't last a day on English roads 🤣😂🤣

Sorry for your partner’s loss. GB population 65 million, in the 12 months up to June 2023 1,633 people were killed on GB roads (neither figure includes Northern Ireland). Philippines population 117 million, latest figures I could find were 11,096 killed on the roads in 2021. Obviously the high proportion of motorcycles contributes to the numbers of fatalities. I understand that wearing a helmet on a motorcycle is compulsory in the Philippines, not that you would know that from watching your videos ! You regularly make light hearted comments about the motorcycle culture in the Philippines, five on a bike or whatever, but it’s no laughing matter ! I appreciate of course that your videos show the reality of life in the Philippines, both good and not so good. As a motorcyclist myself, should I ever find myself in the Philippines, I think I’ll give the motorcycle hire shops a miss.

Alan, How do you feel about Minanao? English goverment say dont travel there. I was there in January and felt safe enough , Probably because i was with a Filipino. I went frpm Davao to CDO on one of the coaches and it was so uncofortable , but we were on it for about 9 hours

Are you going to keep doing YT videos? As back when you was working on cars, we had decent view numbers. Now, it seems the view numbers are very low in comparison.

yes will keep the videos going, whatever the views as it keeps me motivated
