Just put them in white vinegar for a couple of days, they get a circular wire brush from Toolstation for £1.69 ish and brush the rest off. It get's rid of the rust, did this on my F80 M3 disks with great results.

I don’t know many shops that resurface rotors anymore. New rotors are so cheap to replace these days. There’s no way those rotors are $500 each. From Audi Maybe. FCP euro has brembo rotors for that car for $350 usd each and lifetime warranty.
