Commenting on an old video - I didn't get to see the SMW romhacking scene 'grow up' in the last 2010s / early 2020s. It's nice to come across a video of a recognizable, super-skilled player, and realize that, for them, a game like this was a huge challenge when it released.

The stage clear theme is from Streets of Rage 2. I forgot if the song of the upcoming stage was from SoR1 or 2. Either way, the SoR games have an excellent soundtrack and are worth playing even if just for that (but luckily they are excellent games too). Even the 3rd one still has a great soundtrack overal, even if less great.

Ryu, you should try doing SMM one life all difficulties play through. You start at easy with one life as you get one ups you add those to when you go into the next difficulty. (Example : End the last stage of easy with 15 lives, you go into normal with 15. End normal with 21 lives, start Expert with 21. Etc.) Could be a interesting twist, it would be long video because you have to be careful but you could split it into two parts.

Ok I'll say it here, listen, or don't. Star Wars is great. While the actual graphics aren't great by today's standards, the music is FUCKING GOLD. Hell, this is the same guy that wrote the goddamn OLYMPICS THEME. Music and lighting make up 80% of a movie. Take the music out of a horror movie, it's now scary anymore. Just watch those fan made trailers where they change the music and lighting for instances of this. This being said, I understand the hate. Some of the fanbase is pretty annoying and lots of people make it better than it really is

There are series that are memorable for their music, but there are just as many if not more that are memorable for their story. Look at any superhero movie ever made. Take the superhero's theme out and those movies are just as good. The most idiotic part of this idiotic comment is the horror movie part. This is not true in the slightest, and in fact, the opposite is true. Complete silence builds tension and makes scenes legitimately terrifying, stupid music that is meant to raise tension does quite the opposite, since you know something is about to happen when they started blasting music.
