The Mischief 3000 video of the Gumball rally back in the day was awesome. Dado's yellow E36 M3 hanging with supercars, Kim's crazy personality, and just the old school fun of the whole thing was excellent. I see why you were inspired by that. The fact that these rally's trace their spiritual roots back to the 60's and 70's is pretty cool IMO too.

If it makes you feel any better the mr2 vin numbers reset each year and one of the letters in the middle is actually the year designation. So there was a #00355 each year. I have a '93 for instance that ends in 00365, owned a '92 ending in 00007. In order to have the 355th off the line I believe you would have had to have an '89 production year built for the 1990 model year for the UK market, then narrow it down to the numbers there. Perhaps that was the case but I didn't hear a model year mentioned.

@@thenewbeester In Canada, a vehicle must pass a mechanical certification inspection, done by a licensed mechanic, before the title can be transfered. We call it a "certy". Depending on where a person lives in Canada, vehicle emissions must be checked every year or every two years. We call it a smog test. But, I do not know what that has to do with language idiocy like "3 X less" or "300% less" Which would indicate a quantity of negative 2 times the original amount.

Being the owner/driver of the first and only replica supercar to ever cross the finish line at a Gumball 3000 rally means nothing? As if that wasnt legendary enough in the car community, he happened to be the very 1st car (out of literally hundreds of REAL super cars) to cross said finish line at Gumball 3000 (and having done so in the first and only replica to date) must also mean nothing too right? I’m sorry to have to disagree with you about this shit being “nothing”, not many people will ever have a chance to own a supercar nor drive any stage of a Gumball 3000 rally and this man did the impossible that most of us car people wish and dream we could do one day. Also I want to point out that this guy also got invited to bring that same car to the Goodwood Festival of Speed where he promptly was able to sell it for a pretty big profit…so he (a normal car enthusiasts like the rest of us who don’t have the financial means to own a real supercar) did the impossible and got to live out his and all of our dreams and pretty much got paid for it at the end of the day 🤷🏻♂️ so to most of us car enthusiasts, it doesn’t get much more legendary than that. 😎

May I ask why the Gum Ball 3000 is a European run. Considering the Gum Ball is an coast to coast American silent race? You can't take an American race into Europe, and call ot the Gumball! Do you Europeans even know what a gumball is? FO! Who cares about your bought cars that were built for you. Do something original. Do something different. I have the perfect plan for a winning car!
