I’d imagine Corvettes would get more love here but it’s a relatively wide car on narrow roads with only left hand drive available plus expensive petrol and fairly low mpg. Pretty cool 2nd car though!

Great to see you again. And catch up with what’s happening. I’m of the same opinion about keeping cars original. I have a mk2 fabia VRs which I’ve had since it was four years old. I drive I maintain giving it every thing it needs. It’s standard nippy frugal and great to have on the country roads of Scotland where I live. Although the bumper has a lot of paint chips the rest of the car is spot on and can’t bring myself to start painting for the same reason you talk about. Look forward to following you on your future projects.

Guys, the shock absorbers, if the actuators are not properly seated and the centre shaft aligned they will give you trouble. Once installed and working they self test at each start up by going through full motion and stopping in a given position, there is a controller in one of the back lockers, I can't remember if you can get the fault codes up on the dash but if the actuators or centre shafts are a bit stiff they will give trouble. If you have to get any replacements 90 and 91 have different shocks and actuators from the 92 onwards, early one had something like 120 deg rotation and the later ones less. I love the Honda 400-4 in the background several of my friends had them when they were new and some still do.

@chrisbaker121924 Absolutely Chris, I very nearly bought a 25 which was up for £1200, one owner 20k on the clock and always garaged, it was virtually a minter, we drove past it for months and one day it was gone along with that itching feeling of if it's there much longer I'm going to have it 😭 I used to work at Longbridge and briefly worked on the 200 and Concerto, both built on the same line although the quality inspection for Honda was much better than ours. If a component was scratched on a Honda it would be removed and put on a 200 😬😆😭 Rover was a torrid place to work so I transfered to Land Rover in Solihull. That's a lovely Spitfire by the way 👍🏼👌🏼

yeah I have had so many different Porsches and the 987 is one of my favourite! Keep hold of it the 2.7 is actually a great engine also as it suffers less issues compared to the 3.4!

I just switched over to Ford from GM as my main delivery driver here in the US. Been using a 2021 Chevy Silverado which I have now passed to my son. Now have a 2024 Ford F250 Lariat with the 7.3 Godzilla motor. Awesome bit of kit. Before I left the UK to live in Texas I ran a 2003 Volvo V70, epic vehicle, family cruiser and materials hauler, basically did everything we threw at it.

Are these issues happening if these bags are used daily? I just got the pochette metis in monogram canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the multicolored polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, lol. But I don’t think it’ll be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in DA but only use that a few times a year in the spring and summer so I haven’t put that much wear and tear into it. I hope I don’t see the fraying for a while. Also, I’m saving up for a kislux . Has your colleague seen the same issues with that size? I don’t mind some relaxation in shape but I don’t want it to be a puddle either. Thanks for the video!

@ ok mate but old school what we used to do to run the cam in is to hold the rpm to over 3k for 30mins and don’t stop it and don’t let it over heat and that hardens the cam but I bet now a days you don’t have to do that last one I did a was a Kent cam in a xflow 👌

Yep well spotted, the CB400F, to me this was a "modern" bike because before that I was riding around on a BSA C15 to work in all weathers. To be fair to it the C15 never did me too wrong, apart from not really having a front brake and covering the back wheel in oil all the time of course. Least with all the oil coming out of it the bike wouldn't rust. :D!

Loving the V70, very nice example but feel that it was incredibly pricey, a few years ago he would've struggled to get a few hundred quid because of the mileage. I wouldn't paint the bumper, I don't think it'll add any value VS original paintwork. Can't believe the Corvette got 30MPG, my XC60 D5 gets 29 and I drive it like a saint because our county has matt grey speed camera vans :( Loving the Boxster as I've said before, Lapis Blue is the perfect colour. One day I will own one. Spitfire is a very cool first car, much better than the MK3 Polo Coupe I bought for my first car! Also loving Chris' red C5, I watched the original series and very much enjoyed it, especially the tedious jazz segments! What does Marcus reckon to the ZR-1 paint? I can't remember! I think if you can get away with touchups and a buff, keep the original paint. Rover 45, good little story and seems like a good car. Glad you got rid of the chavvy Mustang exhaust, if you could put the badges on as well I think it'll look much nicer. Unfortunately whenever I see a modded Mustang, my interest disappears. Hopefully you guys can find the time to release regular updates again, I really like this channel. Oh and I'm very disappointed that your AI song didn't include the word "plenum". Add it at the end without any context 😂

Hey Tom! We absolutely missed a trick!! Don't you worry, PLENUM will definitely feature in a new AI song soon :) Marcus reckons we should paint the ZR-1 because (and he's right) it would look fabulous with a good quality fresh paint job...! The Mustang exhaust had to go, it was ridiculous. It's more or less perfect now, still sounds great but is as tasteful as a Mustang could be. I am going to change the number plates and put the GT back panel on at some point. Other than that I quite like how it sits on the spacers. More updates coming soon, thanks for watching as always!

@Auto_Funk Don't get me wrong, the Mustang is definitely more tasteful than 99% of the heaps I've seen around here, the exhaust put me off it but it's sorted now! The lack of emblems does something to my brain, the previous owner should've been proud to advertise the car they purchased. I don't mind wheels spacers so they can stay 🙂 If you really want to troll the plenum fans, make an AI song in the style of the Weebl's Stuff classic "Badgers" 🤣🤣🤣 I forgot to say, great picture of Chris with his emo hair back in the day, I remember having a similar fringe in 04/05, I was probably driving a Corrado G60 at the time, a car I always wanted but made me reluctant to meet my heroes again. It was a nail and I only bought it because it had a super rare electric Recaro interior. I wish I was that cool now!!!!

Well done with the Volvo. That was a find and a half , no mistake.Mythical cherished one-owner unicorn. I get why you tired of the 'Stbg's exhaust, you did the socially responsible thing, but having said that , I'm pretty sure folks would tolerate it easier than the myriad pop and bang , gasping and rasping 4-pots that plague our roads. They do around here, anyway. On my C6, it has the full SLP package, headers, X-pipe , quite a large back box, and isn't loud at all, despite a big cast ally 4 stub tailpipe that looks like it's off a Merlin V-12. Don't half drone , though , at certain speeds. Sounds REALLY angry when redlined . Nice work finding the Z06 bits, too. Especially here in this septic isle. Heads and cam , way to go, maybe some exhaust/headers and yer done. Pity we aren't in the same situation a the folks across the pond who seem to have a decent tuner and dyno setup in every village. I got a pair of front discs from the fellow you referenced at the Racelife channel - Chris?- for a very bargain price, nice fella to deal with.Had to go to RockAuto for the rears and some other stuff which will ne here next week. Missed a set of EBC Yellowstuff pads fromthere, due to having to cancel and re-do the order 'cos I forgot to include ignition wires. Some other lousy sod nicked 'em from under my nose! They were a third of the cost of buying here. Ah well.......neh mind. I knew the 'vert would handle the snow if driven appropiately, it's when the diver's boot gets on yer throttle foot it all goes south! Don't ask !! Really looking forward to seeing the evolution of your 'Vettes, you have fun in store for sure . Thanks for the hard work entertaining us , it's appreciated.

It's amazing, the vert was really good in the snow! We were extra careful because it had already been paid for but it performed very well... I heard SLP systems are particularly fruity - Yours must be deafening! More updates from us coming soon, can't wait to get those Z06 bits fitted to Kev :)

I had a 2001 V70, fantastic car, very reliable, comfortable and very easy to work on. I couldn't kill it but I passed it on to my stepdaughter and she did. Guess they're not tough enough to survive women in their early twenties!😭

Good idea - Llew very nearly bought an absolutely mint Integra DC5 before Christmas but it didn't happen in the end. There aren't many JDM cars on our channel but we like them and are always looking - Llew fancies an FD RX-7... It would be funny to see one side by side with a C5 sincde they look very similar!

Chris just one more thing if you have got heads and intake for your c5 and a cam do you know what the duty cycle is on your injectors cuz if any where 100% you need bigger injectors I would say to compensate for the cam and Intake just a thought for you if your getting it mapped

Ah the cam isn’t that big. The stock injectors should be more than up to the job. Can’t have a big cam in the Uk as you’ll not pass emissions. :) Chris.

Email me if you want, you just unplug it and use the tech 2 to tell the car it doesn’t have the active damping option. Then fit standard shocks or drive as is (I think they default to the firmest setting)
