Honestly the best thing about the FotD is the fog. It helps tuckers so much because it allows sneaky plays alot easier than a FoF does.

I've been running the idea of a Siren themed fort in my head forever, I think it'd be a neat aesthetic, like a super Treasury, and it'd force players to fight more Ocean Crawlers for banger loot, like a coral chest of Fortune or something. I'm just a big sucker for the Sunken aesthetic and I'll do anything to get our collective pirate hands on more. Hell, maybe we can get a new Sunken Curse? It can be argued that the Legendary Curse and Ashen curse are like precursors to the Skeleton and Ghost curses, why not have another Sunken Curse with crazy amounts of customizability

The lag coming from so much treasure does suck, but unfortunately I doubt that can really be fixed. It's probably because there's more entities being loaded in or something. I just kind of deal with the fact that my game will always be laggy xD
