The Black bears here on the west coast are quite timid and usually run away when they see you.Otherwise that bear bell would just be a dinner bell

We knew we put a bear bell.on Maggie for a reason. Thanks for clarifying that they are timid like the ones in Northern Ontario. Thanks for watching. Janis

We will def get some bear spray onboard when we head to Alaska. My dad gave me some when I came out here to university! I don't think it was for bears, though ....cheers Janis

Did you see the youtube videos about why no one anchors in Japan?
@OnboardTangaroa19 күн бұрын
We did and we have been speaking with an agent there...same one LaVagabonde used. He is actually Canadian and from Victoria. He says going into fishing ports is the key for us. They cost very little to dock in and if we do anchor...trust me we will be lit up like a Christmas Tree. Thanks for the reminder! Merry Christmas Janis

I’m just going to take a WAG and say the yellow floats are either oysters, or mussels. I could be wrong though……my wife frequently reminds me of that 😂😂😂

Blaine loves his xbox and has no issue gaming with starlink. He uses a 360 though and hopefully we will update to a series x soon. What's your fave game?

So how do you know if you have enough fuel and where to get more fuel
@OnboardTangaroa19 күн бұрын
Fuel wise - we carry 3000 gallons and we usually fill up every two years right now. There are quite a few places around here to fill up with diesel though we try to go to Anacortes right now because that is the cheapest place. When we start travelling...we will fill up where the commercial fishing boats fill up. Is that what you were asking? Thanks. Janis
