I use to be a Nitto fanboy. They make great tires but unfortunately the rubber hardens faster than other competitors brands. They ride terrible after about 1 year of use. I’ve ran Trail Grapplers & & Ridge Grapplers. Both tires ran exactly the same after only a year of use. Love my Jeep but driving daily with Nitto’s isn’t an option after only a year of use. Extremely rough ride & tons of road noise. I actually put on the Milestar Patagonia’s because of you guys. I’ve been extremely impressed with their performance on & off road so far with about 18,000 miles on them. Keep up the great content! #LightBriteNation ❤️

I've thrashed mine off-road and had 20,000 plus miles on the road. They've been great tires. I've got a new set of Toyo Open Country MT's on the way now. They had the size I wanted and Milestar didn't, otherwise I wouldn't change.

Nittos are fantastic. I run 35” Trail Grapplers on my JL and they ride and perform very well, both on road and off road. They have a clean, aggressive look too which is a plus imo.

Dirty Life wheels are awesome. I bought the dt2's (same ones) a year ago with the real beadlock rings. Everyone thought I was crazy to sandblast new black wheels and powder coat them gold. Now they sell them that way. @JeepJeep303

I love my Nitto's... 3rd set I've owned, currently got a set of tire grap's on my new '16 tacoma, love the way they handle on the road and the dirt ( very limited use there so far).... I had BFG's on my previous vehicles before but I had 2 sets separate ( tread cap came apart) and I just dont trust the brand any more.... the nitto's wear nice and the mileage is pretty d@mn good too.

I run the RidgeGrappler on my Ram 2500 and they're awesome! Quiet on the road, yet decent off road traction. They run the gravel roads of Oregon at high speed and get me into the muddy fishing holes just fine. Great move!

That’s not “calling out”, that’s simply stating a fact. We make it a personal goal to not lie on our Channel. The sidewall construction on the Trail Grapplers adds insane strength, and with that comes extra weight. 😊🤙 Lots of modifications have give and take - beadlocks are another great example. They’re heavier, but they’re vital for most rock crawling applications if you don’t want to debead a tire.

Everyone has their fave when it comes to tires & will usually defend that tire to the grave...I'm an STT Pro diehard myself but nobody can debate Nitto's pedigree & resume, not only in the 4x4 realm but across the spectrum. Good choice! That being said....hot damn, those Dirty Life wheels look Dope & perfectly compliment those sexy AF Bilsteins.

The Patagonia have been proven fine on a trail rig but they are not a race tire designed for this race. We have never claimed the Patagonia to be a race tire that can withstand king of the hammers. We may only have one chance in life to compete here and we want the best chance possible so we went with the best of the best.

Kevin I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place I currently run 33 on my stock JL however I really like to go up to 35 in I do have three and a half inch lift kit on it currently so I feel 35s will clear however some have told me to change my gears if I'm going up to 35 and some said my stock gear should be okay what do you think? Honestly I'm a little disappointed. I wasn't really impressed with the nitto's I've had in the past & was really looking forward to seeing how a set of black label Patagonia's did on KOH! I only run Patagonia's on all of my rigs now. Would be killer karma to see someone else running Milestars up on the podium this year! Then Milestar would be like WTF guys! This is what you get for stabbing us in the back like that!

Milestar’s aren’t a race tire and there is no stabbing anyone in the back. If you know anything about us you would know that. We had very long discussions with both companies for many months. There wasn’t any going behind someone’s back. Everything was laid out in the table and discussed. I’m sorry you are disappointed but when you have possibly only 1 chance at doing something this monumental, you would want the best of the best if at all possible in every aspect and not use a product that wasn’t designed for the intended use.

I love my 37x13.5-17 Milestar Patagonia MT's on my 97F250HD . Great in light and deep snow, mud, loose gravel logging road trails and awesome road manners no tire howling or vibration at 65/70 mph. I don't think I'll ever switch to a different tire.

I have been running nitto for years put 3 sets on my 05 gmc they lasted for 65000 miles this was the at tera grappler the same tire on a 12 dodge ram 2500 lasted 45000 miles now I have the ridge grappler on my 2018 ram 2500 and jeep jlu the ram has about 30k on it and they are about ½ way there

I have to admit that I'm the same way. I love buying tires. I put a set of Pat's on my ram 4 months ago and they have been great, several hunting trips and road trips they have been smooth. I have ran MT's, Toyo's, Cooper's, Goodyear's, and several others over the years. My work bench looks like a miniature Discount Tire from all the tires and wheels four our RC's!!!

Yeah I kind of have to disagree, it's just showing the advancement of two people in the off-road world. Moving up from budget to knowledge and different off road.. Live story about two people learning so the general public I Guess don't have to make mistakes and I think Kevin and Brittany both have a good grasp on performance. @Jeepstyle OK let’s call a spade a spade here. This channel is no longer what I’d call grass roots. It’s a business in every sense of the word for Brittany and Kevin now, it’s their livelihoods and I get and have no issues with that. If BFGoodrich knocked on there door first this would have been a BFG. advertisement. For myself though I have to take what they say in regards to products with a grain of salt because they now have a vested interest in promoting said products. With that being said I watch certain channels for know how and advice and I watch certain channels for pure entertainment. For me this channel has swayed from one side to another and I’m just not interested in watching infomercials.
