I didn't even know that ver 2 mags were out there.Got all mine from Evike years ago and they all pooped out and leak from both ends no matter what I have tried.I have the we vin m-16 20 round mag that works no matter what.

I wondered about those little mags, I was thinking about picking some of those up for prone shooting with my WE l85. Good to hear they cause you no problems! I will remember that if I end up getting a scar l or other stanag we gun in the future.

I have a c02 mag for the l85 (same mag) the main valve is leaking but the valve isn't a one piece design. The pintle and rear seal come out of the mag but the seal for the pintle is built into the mag somehow. Is there a way to take that little oring out if the mag body and replace it?

this video helps but the leak on ,y version 2 are coming from the out put valve because i used to bee one that would let the gas just go rushing out of the top so not sure if its the output vale or the orings on the output valve but hopeful ill know soon. have you had this problem before???

The only time I suspected and experienced a leak out of the output valve is using my ghk g5 mags. there are 2 cylinders inside the plastic housing that just needed to be tightened and the leak stopped. also I have experienced the issue when I would run the mag too hard and things would start freezing. I don't recall I ever had that issue with my we mags. I currently do not own any we m4 mags.

Nice vid mate! thanks for this, i get so much nice tips, about to treat my magz a bit carefully from now on ;) ( to use adapter when refill a gas, don't press the gas striker to often or to long, make sure all the screw is snug not too tight, etc ). I got 5 WE ver 2 magazines, 3 of them is almost 2 year now, while the rest i just got it couple days ago, one of my old ver2 magz is leak on the top seal, apparently its a soft leak, cos i can hear "sssss.." sound from it, but if the magz is upside down the gas leaks more the sound is noiser than before following with the gas coming out, can it be fixed? usually if you have any issues with a gas leak it can be fixed with either tightening the valves and /or screws up or replacing the oring or valve thats causing the issue. You can order gas mag orings pretty cheap online if you go to ebay there are some good deals on there. or if you can't wait, sometimes places like ace hardware will have small orings.

I am new and I just got a king arms gbb m4 (colt licensed). I was curious as I dont know, what mags will work for it? A lot of mags look like they will work, but not sure. I read that we tech ones would work but again a lot look like they will but don't wanna buy if it doesn't.

The we mags are proprietary. I dont know of any other companies that utilize them. King arms uses the western arms standard design so they are compatible with a lot of companies. Unless they changed it in the last few years, most western arms style mags should work with little or no modification.

You can do it as needed but sometimes things need regular maintanence. Especially if you play games in outdoor environments. If you play mostly indoors and your mags are working just make sure they arent leakimg and dont leave them empty if they are being stored.

I have a question about npas on we m4? On the maximum adjustment does it increase fps?

If you close the valve tighter I believe it diverts more gas to the bcg and gives lower fps but more recoil. If you loosen the valve it gives the bb more gas and gives less felt recoil. That's how I remember it anyway, it's been a while since I have flexed my knowledge about airsoft so I'm a bit rusty. Lol

I have a gbb v2 m4 mag and it would leak from the top. It worked fine previously. Does it just need lube or do I need to replace the o-rings in the valve.

I have a problem with the magazine that came out of the box with We tech m4. The problem is when magazine is empty the bolt does not catch back for the magazine. And if I have dry fire mode on as well the bolt does not catch back. I have tried with other magazine and it works perfectly with them. I have no clue as to why the bolt does not catch back for this magazine. It was working perfectly when I got it but after some use of the magazine it does not work now. Need some help.

Could I ask a question. If I want to put a free float rail in my GBBR do I need to get a low profile gas block. Or can I just leave the gas block off.

Chang Ye leave it off, it will make the gun lighter which in turn equates to more recoil. ;)

No, it will just alter how the replica feels when fired.

The weight is so the bolt carrier doesn't bounce as much when you fire the weapon. You can remove it and see if it helps with gas efficiency. It does have a function though.

Hi Doug, I have a WE G26 Short 16 shot mag. I can only get a few shots in until the gas runs out. I tried filling it and it fills quick, but again after firing 4 rounds the gas is gone. Seems that the gas is not filling all the way or something is obstructing. Any advice?

We tech uses proprietary mags. They most likely will not work with the Kjw.

hi bro; thanks for the video.i have a problem; no leaks or nothing like that; i fill the mag fully with gas and bb's.when i pull the trigger the pressure is way too much.after 7-10 shots the gas goes empty.and sometimes the opposite.the gas doesnt flow good at all which causes blank-fire. i am assuming this might be a problem from trigger or mags? would be nice to have an answers. btw using we416 gbbr may the accuracy be with you

Are you filling the mags with the gas upside down? the fill valve should be pointed up.

+Douglas Thompson hey man.of course i do fill the mags properly.is it more likely to be a valve problem,or the trigger? My bolt is ra-tech but trigger is stock.if the trigger-piece not hitting the valve properly;maybe it causes gas pressure inconstantly?

Does the gun do the same amount of rounds with the stock bolt installed? Also I apologize, I wasn't insulting you or anything, just got to go down the possible checklist. I was going to ask if your hammer spring was upgraded and possibly releasing too much gas per shot...but you already answered that question. Are your shots abnormally high fps?

+Douglas Thompson thnx for the replies brother.it is not really cold where i live.no snow;only cold like 1o C maybe when its colder like 5 C ...i have no chrono at home but As i record slow motion with my camera; either the bolt doesnt move properly back(i think low gas flow) OR bolt cycles really good with too much has release(which causes the 10-12 shot emptying the gas inside mag)

im having a problem that i cant seem to find what is causing the leak. the leak looks like it is coming from the top of the mag where the gas would be released into the gun for it to shoot. The leak is very slow but is still noticeable. I have completely disassembled the mag looking for a problem and couldnt find anything. I shoot at about 400 fps (not sure how many joules) with the npas installed. Thanks

Douglas Thompson I haven't been able to disassemble that part because I don't have the proper tools any suggestions of what tool to use I haven't been able to get it with a screwdriver like the fill valve

+Eddie Lee Lol, I don't have the proper tool for that either. Just a very small flathead screwdriver like the ones you can get in eyeglass repair kits for removal. For re installation a large flathead screw driver works nicely. I can make a small video on the subject if you need a visual representation.

Douglas Thompson ive tried with a flat head and i cant seem to get it unscrewed the button that releases the gas wont depress far enough for me to get a flat head and unscrew

+Eddie Lee You know, I was thinking about the c-clip... You do have to get a special tool to unscrew the entire assembly. You can make one if you have a flat piece of steel large enough and just cut some material out of the middle. I have successfully made a couple. Again I can show you how if you need further instruction. All the valve tools I've purchased break quickly so you're better off making your own if you have the knowledge and a Dremel.

Brian Anderson If you take the bottom off you should be able to tighten the magazine screw that seals the gasses. If I still had the mags I could help you out more....

James Fulmer id say fill em up super wet as in tons of silicone oil. Let the orings get a taste of oil before you rely on them.
