Love your review on the new LC250! Here in the Philippines, the most practical vehicle to own are SUVs, pickup trucks and vans. Unlike you guys in the US, we are a small country, and most roads here are on the rough side. So when this new LC250 came out, I was excited to know that we will be having it here..but sadly, with only 1 trim available. But nonetheless, it is a very capable vehicle to own and use here.

Thank you very the kind words! :) No matter the trim, they are the same suspension, engine, drivetrain so no matter what you have a great vehicle choice there. I'm curious, what trim is available for you there?

@@RevViewHQ sadly, we only have one trim available here..the 2.4L gas engine, w/ 7-seats, with 1962 look but the grille is the same as the previous LC Prado. And if converted back to US price from ours after taxes is, $85,714.

Love the LC, not so much the new 4cyl turbo. I’m going to wait and see how the engine does in the next few years, meanwhile I’ll hang with my 4Runner 6cyl daily driver.

@@Victoriom4 i’m with you on this… in my next review one of my main gripes is how LOUD the engine is at idle. Just sitting at a red light. And I feel it vibrating. I’m in ❤️❤️ with the torque though!
@Victoriom4
@Victoriom4 23 күн бұрын
@@RevViewHQ agreed on the torque, briefly contemplated trading in my 22 Trd pro 4Runner when I saw numbers. The twin turbos killed the idea, I’m guessing possible oil issues, maybe transmission. Crossing my fingers that I’m wrong, and maybe acquire a gen 2 in future.
@RevViewHQ
@RevViewHQ 23 күн бұрын
Absolutely Keep your PRO for now. Once the 6th Gen Runner drops there will be a massive price increase which will gradually bring up the value of all previous Gen Runners. Then move into it once you are sold.

@@Victoriom4I have a 2022 Trd pro lime rush. Love it but I have to say the new first edition I now have as well is awesome. The owner and torque is so badass. And I love the Trd pro I have as well. The new l c is way more powerful and quicker on the highway etc.

What would I do different? 2WD mode to help stretch those mpg numbers. It's already a mandatory hybrid set up, no matter what trim. Just needs an actual 2WD mode.
@RevViewHQ
@RevViewHQ 26 күн бұрын
@@jeffreyfitch1006 I found it odd that it did not have an EV button, I imagine it’s because it’s a Hybrid Max engine designed to add performance. But it can do with some extra efficiency options.

Thank you for the video, but man these trails you drove in are far from off roading, almost any FWD car with a decent driver can drive those trails

@@-Belshazzar- Totally on point. Keep in mind one is running on 20’ wheels, however I failed to mention that this was to test some of the off-road features to even call it an off-road vehicle. The next step is to take it to a stage 2-3 course like my 4Runner. The all terrain wheels have just been installed! ;)

Off-road monster? Most people do that with their 2x4 ranch truck.

@@Richard.Cabeza Ha, it wasn’t meant to hit a stage 4 trail and push any limits, one is running on 20’inchers. It was to test the off-road features, capabilities and suspension set up. My 4runner Pro. Now that’s different, it’s set up for hardcore trails. That video will come in the near future.

@@mf6532 I love a naturally aspirated engine and I agree, Turbo has come a long way in reliability. Toyota has proven themselves on the hybrid and it’s likely what’s helping with that immediate torque the 4runner doesn’t provide.

As the grounds are private special permission is required, but yes there is a light off-road course on an inner track (not shot here). A second, outer offroad course, where I shot this, as well as two different axle twist areas.
