We have to few evolutions currently, and they aren’t balanced. The addition of another evolution slot in this point in time has killed many decks, since you can’t just shove any evolution in your deck and synergize.

I have a theory: They want to make every player spend money in the game, for example they moved the party button and only shows the play button for real matches, since its a real match if you lose you lost your throphies, if you lost to someone with a higher level you get frustrated and wants to spend on the offers in the shop so you can have a bigger advantage to win like them They dont want you to play party modes since it makes every card level 11 only, they dont want all of the offers you buy in the shop useless But hey, it's just a theory! The goal is to make it behind lvl 54 is that lower arenas (around 7.5k zone) is to make progression as linear as possible, so newer players can enjoy the game by dealing against a single evolution at the time. The earliest a F2P player can get an evolution is 3 months (6 if you're trying to save for the newest one), which gives players enough time to prepare for evolved cards. You can approximatively reach King lvl 14 in 1 year, while you're on the way to collect as many EWC as possible, most of them being from PoL, which is the main source of EWC

I just restarted playing after half a decade. I already have an evo and another shard, and will get another shard in a week or so. It's not that bad. What's bad is getting gold without paying for the "piggy"s and the battle passes. I had 4 cards waiting to be upgraded to 12 and 13 and could do only 3 so far. It's as hard as getting shards!
