My goal is to ride as well as Claire. Super smooth control. I can ride the Whistler blacks, but the doubles are still a bit tough. I still have plenty of time. I'm only in my 50's. Thanks for the video.

So glad to see another video with Claire! I feel like I learn so much watching her ride. She's a great example of how you can ride pretty gnarly stuff with a focus on finesse and technique rather than brute force. I would love to be as smooth as her some day!

it is so difficult to not put your arms out when your crashing because it's your natural instinct but your advice is so true. I've had 3 injuries because I fell onto my arms.

We got two of these for our daughters kzbin.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L the same size for age 6 and 9. It works very well for both girls. Gears were very easy for them to learn. Changing gears up takes some hand strength and is a bit hard, but they are learning. They did not come with water bottle holders- we actually got confused and thought the Derailler Guard was the bottle holder!! Regardless of these details, the bikes are fantastic- even our six year old who only just learned to ride bikes caught on within an hour of practice and loves it. Lightweight and easy for them to handle. All the parts are in excellent condition and the bikes are easy to assemble and very well packaged. Great choice for kids!

actualy you can definalty put your arms out to catch you wihtout breaking your wrist, there are techniques for that, and part of that is that you of course dont try and use only your wrist to catch your fall but rather slow it down a little and then go onto your elbows and decrease the impact with that while spreading out the pressure over your chest
@remymetailler2 жыл бұрын
Yes the idea is too roll as best as possible or at least spread the impact.
@taol82582 жыл бұрын
hard to remember all that when you're about to eat shit. Our natural instinct is to put arms out and try to roll on our back/side but I guess it depends how you are falling off the bike.
