Great video, been riding motorcycles most of my life and have done a ton of dune riding. Really cool video to see these E-motos handle the dunes.. granted they are limited in this but still awesome to see. Great example of why i would keep my 450 for the dunes for now :P but either way im glad you guys had a blast doing your thing.

Who won, the Energizer Bunny or Duracell? What a good time that hadta be. Last time I had fun with sand was 40 years ago in the Mojave desert with my Baja bug with some really fat 15" wide paddles on the rear. I could readily see these emoto's being beyond addicting.

I'm definitely impressed with the capabilities of all these E-moto's. As a fellow Utard (down in Cedar), I know I'd have a blast owning one of these. The biggest dilemma for me though is the price of them. Every time I think about possibly picking one up, I just think of what kind of awesome used motorcycle I could get for the same price or cheaper 🤣. It's hard because I already own a 2020 CRF 250 Rally and a quad for all my dirt riding, and a new Goldwing for my street riding. This would fit a little niche in bopping around town and going to work or if I want to just take some side streets to get to the trails though. Such a difficult decision! In all likelihood, I'll probably pick up an E-Ride Pro SS 2.0 eventually and probably love the thing even more than my CRF for the singletrack. Those of us that are 40ish+ are probably a little harder to convince of all their benefits, but I'm definitely keeping an open mind and once I get a chance to ride one, I'll probably give in 😆. Looked like an awesome day out on the dunes, boys!

You have to let go of that thought man, yes you can get faster bikes for 5k but I can't even tell you how many people we know who have those bikes too and get one of these and it becomes their new favorite bike that they ride the most!

@@Talariaboys They're definitely getting rave reviews, no doubt! I'm a heavier rider too, so that's why the E-Ride Pro SS is definitely so appealing for me. Prior to that coming out, I'd been following the Sur Ron stuff from the periphery, but never felt the "need" to get one. I saw your guys' recent video and saw you're now selling the E-Ride Pro's, which is awesome! Are you guys hooked up through a distributor or do you have some in stock physically? If I do end up saving up some of my pennies for one, I wanna just pick one up from either up north your way, or down in LV, since I'm basically splitting the distance. If you dudes do have them on hand, maybe I'll give you guys my business, since you're local and I tend to find myself up in SLC at least once every couple months or so anyway. Lemme know! 🤙

Chi and PL use the p42a which wouldn't really handle it any better. If they used the p45b it would do a lot better, in the top speed video they stated their battery was sagging over 12v, with p45b's it would be almost half that. Less voltage sag means more power output, more range, and less heat inside the battery. Not to mention if they used the new p50b it would be even better

We don’t really store them… we ride these bikes nearly every day so they get full charged after every ride and are ready to go when we want to go out again. No fires

EBMX motor. I think it also has the V.2 EBMX controller.

How are you running 35kw with an EBMX race battery? The EBMX 72v 42ah with the qs8 can only run 30kw peak power… I’m debating on pre ordering an EBMX 81v if it can run more power (like 35kw+)than just the normal race battery, but if it’s the same then I’ll just save 500+ bucks and get the normal race battery…

Sure we didn’t hold a consistent 35kw in the video but we did hit peaks of 35 which is how power works in these bikes, we were able to hold well over 20 kw for over a minute which is unheard of for this small of a bike. These bikes have the highest end components on them, there is nothing faster or more powerful in this size class. This Surron did 97 mph on the street. Definitely wasn’t only running 10kw .
