Cincoro isn’t really tequila from Tequila Mexico. It’s pretty much a byproduct made in a lab.

not really, we have a national regulatory body in Mexico, it is in our law that all distilled products from agave must be manufactured entirely in jalisco (and a few other specific states) to be able to utilize the label "tequila", the spirit itself has to be distilled and aged in mexico whatever additives the companies might add later is outside of the regulatory body's jurisdiction but most of the product is done in mexico, same as champagne in france and bourbon in the usa.

There are five states where tequila can be produced. It originally comes from a small town called tequila. To be called tequila it can be produced in any of those five states. There’s certainly something special about tequila that comes from Jalisco, but it doesn’t mean they’re the best. What is happening in a lot of these American owned tequila brands, is that they do add other things into tequila dropping the percentage of pure agave in the bottle. Which equals a worse experience that day after 😂
