Wow! LA that white look! I was so worried! Love the slick back wet look. It looks good. And for high humidity days in the summer. That will work. And tie a pretty scarf on and you’ll be good to go. TaylorAnne, you nailed the wet look. You cracked me up with the new identity lol You were a good sport, LoriAnne. I think the Wetline Xtreme might have been the better choice in gels. I could be wrong, but I think the first KZbinr who started the wet hair look on natural hair (kinky, curly, coily) might have been Naturally Simora. Her tutorial dates back to Sep 2018.

LoriAnne, it’s a bride look 💕 You have classic beautiful features so your slicked back look always looks gorgeous on you. TaylorAnne’s hair reminded me of Jasmine Brown’s only because it’s long. Pretty look. However, being older and wearing my hair shorter this year l will definitely favor your look LoriAnne. Btw, l never use eco because of the flaking. I use aloe Vera gel which gives great shine and hold. Thanks for stepping out of your comfort zones. I will definitely try this look this weekend 😉💕

I used the miche leave in and twisting butter with the olive oil eco styler gel and it beaded up as well. So I switched to the argan oil eco styler gel and it mixes well. But maybe next time Lori Anne. Tay yours looks great ❤️

My brother just washed his hair brushed it, put this 99cent store gel and make sure roots are covered too, brush and let it dry. I saw him today, his hair looked so curly on the ends, the top looked straight and not crunchy.

I tried this look using water, eco gold & ors olive oil mousse...I had the wet look for a couple hours then a pretty defined wash n go. I will try this again this is a good way to get rid of products (mousse) I don't really use!

Cocktailing products can be so tricky. I can’t tell from the ingredients, so I blend them all together on the back of my hand. If it balls up, it’s 👎🏽, but it is blends together, it’s 👍🏽.

I think if you don't have high porosity hair, it would be best to do a prepoo (mask, not oil) or even better, use a clay mask and very warm (borderline hot) water, so it gets really wet and heavy and I would start putting products immediately after shower, before it dries (a cap could be nice to hold the moisture) to lock that abundance of moisture in.

Back when I used Eco styler gel and SM curl enhancing smoothie it would look so white in my hair wet but when it dried the white went away. Both of those products gave my hair the slick look.

Hello ladies. This was a struggle for the both of you, especially for you LoriAnne. I get the wet look with on every wash day. It is not until I fluff out my hair does my wash n go look like a wash n go. I think because I have fine strands and the type of texture 3b/3c and some 4a and low to med density. I always get asked if my hair is wet when it is dry. Amber, the wet look is very becoming of you. As usual a great video and I will see you on your next video.

If I want a wet look, I just use a gel that "offers" a wet look. They sell those, mostly men's gels are that way.

I used to unintentionally do this when I 1st (put down the flatiron). I would use Cantu leave-in & SheaMoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie (both old formulas), no brushes and just slick it down. Once, I started using gel (Eco Krystal)... I'd just put some oil on 1st, then follow with the gel (again no brushes). I had no idea this was a style (it's just how I did my hair back then)!
