Wow, that seems intense! I wonder if this simulates flight simulators any differently than cars. For example, during the roller coaster do you experience negative Gs(stomach butterflies), when going down? If it does both + & - Gs; that's crazy. Also, would be interested in how this handles Vox Machinae or Phantom: Covert Ops:)

I can't help but wondering, if your back is secured tight to the back panel of the Motion Sim?? (11:30) (Cause I see a belt but is it enough ??) It feels like your back wants to offset back to vertical. Do you feel 'attached' to the back panel or is it loose ? if it is well-attached then the motors must be really strong, if it more loose then it would feel less immersive but would less likely break etc..
@PinkGirl22424 жыл бұрын
The belt is fitted to the mounting bracket at the back under the seat padding. The motors are very powerful at 120w x3 for the pro version and 100w x3 for the standard version I believe.

I can't wait for the full review! I'm a huge Sim fan (I started building my own, before VR even existed, but I moved and had to give it up) How does cornering feel while racing? I see the pitch for acceleration/ braking, but I didn't see much roll in the turns (lateral G's are just as important for a motion Sim!) I'm REALLY thinking about getting one (I even have a space set aside) if I can get a couple racing games working 100% I'll be sold. The compatibility, support, and user licenses are a bit confusing, other than that, the only thing holding me back is that, the durability and long term support are unknown...

isn't the YAW VR also capable of rotating you 360 degrees? I saw Linus do that while also doing something so your head doesn't get moved into the seat in the car for example when it pitches you back and forth, with the playspace (more or less) also rotating with you when you rotate left and right in the simulator. while the price is definitely too much for me to afford, i will keep an eye on the YAW VR, hoping it is able to become cheaper in the future.
@PinkGirl22424 жыл бұрын

I saw Linus's review and he said that it was incredibly painful to setup and really needs updates to their software to make it even remotely user-friendly. He had to update ini. files etc. to get it to work. Even had to tape a controller to the back of the headrest. Do you agree with this? I would like to get one, but not until it's a little easier to actually use...
@CasandChary4 жыл бұрын
I don’t agree with him on everything but he had some good points. The manual isn’t consumer friendly, nor the software. Although once setup, it works well for me! This depends on the game though. And I don’t know why he needed that controller - I didn’t need it. But more testing is coming later on the channel. Will report back!

$1,500 is kind of a steep asking price, but I would totally pay that if I knew it would last for 5+ years and have good support for cockpit games. But I can see this breaking within a year and not having much support due to the low install base.
