This means a whole lot to us my friend! Thank you!

Only thing I recommend is to either place the camera back 1.5-2', or to use the same camera cropping/framing, but with a 75mm-85mm lens, because the angle you have is a bit wide and that mm is not flattering to the human face. it blows up the nose, mouth and chin.

That's awesome man! I'm gonna do the same someday when we get our own place. Great channel! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the video brother. Love how simple but effective you've kept the setup.

What boom/mic stands are you using?

Appreciate this so much!

These are the proline boom mic stands but I'm not a big fan of how they show up in the shot. Until I find a better method, I recommend just going with these Amazon Basics boom stands: amzn.to/3vfrLNr @@jkkbackupchannel

The video background music is too loud. Nice music but I’m struggling to concentrate on listening to you.

KZbin is not for the faint hearted 9k views and only 430 subs😢. Great video❤

"You're right, KZbin definitely requires perseverance. Getting 9k views is a great achievement, and the subscribers will follow as you continue creating great content. Keep pushing forward!"

Love this man! My set up is similar! I just need to get some cameras. I am currently using an audio interface. Would you say linking the xlrs directly to the camera makes for editing the videos easier? Or do you have to merge to audio files?
@joeybrownmedia5 ай бұрын
I prefer to use the XLR cables because it’s baking the audio right into the footage and if I go through an HDMI switcher, that audio is also baked in. It just makes it so much easier. I use the Black Magic ATEM mini pro now so once we are done filming, the episode is 90% completed. Frees up my post production process.

Did you sound treat the room? I am looking for ways to sound treat the room on a budget and would love to hear your opinion!
@joeybrownmedia8 ай бұрын
I don’t sound treat this room due to its size, it’s being carpeted AND rugged, and me live monitoring the audio during recordings BUT, I definitely recommend it for medium to large sized rooms that may be non carpeted. I would’ve just gotten some traditional panels from Amazon.

Joey how big is that studio/room? Specifically how many feet by how many feet. Trying to figure out if i shoukd get a wide appeture lens like that also
@joeybrownmedia7 ай бұрын
Not exactly sure on measurements BUT, I'd honestly go with a good 24-70 OR a 28-75 F2.8 to give you some options on zoom range. If you have control over lighting, you won't really need anything as wide as an f1.8.
