We love it along the Costa Brava coastline,we go every year at the start of June,we used to ride down through France on our motorbike but since last year we go in the car ,the next best thing (it's a convertible) it's too late now but not far from where you are is Pals old town built on a hillside,this year were going to Le Startit & staying at Castell Montgri camp site.

Climbed to the top of Peniscola Castle January 2020. Got a good view of the town and walked about sites of the El Cid flim.

We’re loving your Spain trip, it’s where we live now. Lynn, you were right the first time, Peniscola is pronounced Peni scola. Google translate is a great but it’s an American app, therefore it uses the Latin American Spanish, not Castilian, which is Spains main language. Beware though, they use regional languages like Valeniano, and after 10 years I still can’t understand it.😂 Rather than using the Google App, type in Castilian to English in the search bar, it looks the same as the App. You can still translate using the camera feature & you can listen to the pronunciation. I've been to Peniscola many times, (I used live a few miles away). The castle was used in the film El Cid, where Charlton Heston rode out and onto the beach where the battle was filmed.

Omg your on the same pitch us & Miss Daisy was on in Costa Brava Eire it’s a lovely clean place The marina is beautiful when we was there all the bells 🔔 started ringing on the boats with the winds and we had a sand storm it lasted 5 mins then it was gone and cracking the flags again. Safe travels 💕

Hi Rob and Lynn been watching you vids for a while absolutely fantastic. Barcelona is a fabulous place but with all the crime problems of big cities. Benidorm is wonderful fun you'll love getting smashed in the bars 🤪. If you fancy a change of pace visit Calpe about 15 miles along the coast from Benidorm it's got a fantastic beach front and a wonderful old town enjoy and Merry Christmas
