I love these roguelike-town building genre mash up games we’ve been treated to on Switch. It worked so well for Cult of the Lamb, this game has a similar charm to its art style with a bit more focus on strategic battles 🤯

I saw this for the first time today on the E-shop and it looks perfect! I’ve been looking for more information and now my favourite Switch channel has done a video on the same day! I am not much of a fan for rogue-like games but when they mash up genres like they do here...I always end up saying "one more run, just one more run and the off to bed..." lieesss hahaha. This game with the town also gave me Made in Abyss vibes. I definitely have to try it! ❤

Looks very similar to Greed Corp, a turn-based strategy game from 2010. I've spent 20 hours on that game and finished the campaign, even played online. This looks interesting as well.

Loving this one. It reminds me a little bit (just a little bit) of a more relaxed version of Into The Breach. You can take your time to plan each move, have a general idea of what's going to happen each turn, and can unlock/upgrade different units as you play. Enemy movements aren't always 100% predictable, but that just adds another layer of strategy imo - planning for a few possible routes and making sure your gnomes can harvest other resources if an enemy goes a different way. Overall, I really enjoy the unique spin this puts on the roguelite / town building genre. Good stuff, to be sure.
